Me and my husband haven’t been here for a couple years was down in the area so decided to stop for Breakfast set our self at the table the waitress came over and took our order. why we were waiting on our food to other tables, table of three women and a table of a man and a woman came in now this is like 15 minutes and a place their order they food. Their food came out way before our dead. We asked the waitress where our food was. She gave us an excuse that it was only two people on the floor, and two people in the kitchen we ordered something eggs, bacon, toast. The other tables had omelettes French toast. What are food finally came out. It was ice cold then we were sitting there for half an hour. We just got up and terrible experience and I will not be back. You will not stay open with the service that you are waiting on your customers that come in on a daily basis, customers come in. This is a bad way having your customers come in. Of course the waitress never brought my coffee, and she barely was going to bring her food when she did it was lukewarm to cold. I start speaking with somebody I know to be karmic so if they paid her for the foolishness, I’m glad, because I sure didn’t tip. Her mind told me to go across the street to the diner. Breakfast at the Landmark Restaurant was more than special.
The food was great and the portion sizes were more than generous. The eggs were cooked perfectly for all three of us and my pork chop was to die for.
The waitstaff was speedy and friendly, and it showed that they liked their job and felt appreciated by ownership. It seemed like a well oiled machine.
We spoke to Mary, the proprietor, on our way out and as I surmised, she has absorbed so many price increases to take care of her loyal clientele and keep her employees with jobs.
If you have the chance to visit the Landmark Restaurant, you will not regret it.
