Worst McDonald's in America... I try to avoid this location at all cost because over the last 10 years it has did nothing but go downhill I stay away even tho it's in my neighborhood 1 minute away. Today after a 13 hour day I decided to try out this location for the first time in a while. My issue is when you order something the cashier has 1 job, that's to listen to the customer with that then document said order, give total, collect, give out order. That's it. Simple right? No matter what time of day it is the order is never correct. To go back to a fast food place 3 times for 1 meal is out of this world. Then to have someone that portrays a leadership role (Head Manager) but doesn't know how to tell someone how the transaction would go and are rude to them. How am I to know I am supposed to know to bring back the cold soggy fries or pop to get my full refund. That trash is at my house that I left 3 times, trying to come get my messed up sandwich that should have been done right the first time. It's not hard. I work in management myself. I will tell you what even though I know we are in the hood and you had to gather management out the sewer, it's not that hard to just listen and do it right the first time. Can we just throw this whole McDonald's away and start over. The point of reviews are to give to them out to businesses to try and help them get recognition or get better and sadly for this location it will...

This McDonald’s on Pearl & Denison is more than just fast food — it’s a reminder that kindness still exists. I’ve eaten at many McDonald’s locations, even the mansion one in Independence, OH… but none compare to this one.
What makes this spot so special isn’t just the food — it’s the people. We live in a beautifully diverse neighborhood, but with that comes real-life challenges like poverty. I once saw a man loitering outside, and another customer stepped up and gave the cashier money so he could eat. No questions asked. No judgment. Just pure compassion.
The employees here treat everyone with respect, no matter their background or situation. They don’t just serve — they care. Even my service dog-in-training, Hazel (or as I call her, my angel), has been welcomed warmly. We’ve sat and eaten together with zero issues — just smiles and kindness all around.
Love sees no color at this McDonald’s. The atmosphere is warm, the people are real, and the compassion is unmatched. If you’re looking for more than just a meal — if you’re looking for humanity — this is the place. Thank you to the staff for being the heart of the...
Read moreIt's usually perfect in the mornings. Employees are always really friendly. You get greeted at both windows. They read your order back to you. The line wait time is super quick even when busy. The food is always hot fresh and I've yet to have an order messed up. However the last week their speaker isn't working good and their messing orders up. And this morning I was given old coffee that tastes burnt and 16 sugars and extra cream didn't even make it taste better. The evening people however. They open the windows and say your total just 2.16 no other words. And give your food. It's like they're too busy to even say hello. Makes you feel like they don't want you there. The line wait time is always enormous. And just Sunday night my boyfriend went to get a sandwich a coffee and two small fries. They handed him his coffee then he waited 3 minutes. For them to open the window and say sorry I served your ordered what did you have. Then to wait another 5 minutes to get it. So chaotic. My recommendation don't go after 4pm and triple check to make sure they have your...
