This is for the 4159 Lee Rd location : Disappointing Experience at McDonald's on Lee Road and Judson
I recently solicited the McDonald's on 4519 Lee Road in Cleveland, Ohio, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I was served a stale, unpleasant fish patty that was nearly inedible. It was in a dehydrated state, very hard, to hard for a child to eat and very challenging for a grown-up. Despite the years since my last visit, the quality of the food remains disappointingly poor, with dry bread and a lack of freshness. A staff that for some reason insist on being rude and serving food that should have been disposed of.
Additionally, the staff's attitude was less than welcoming the last time I was there, showing little concern for customer satisfaction. This lack of care was evident both in-store and through delivery platforms like DoorDash, where I received my order.
I hope the management and staff at this location will reconsider their approach and strive to improve the quality of their service, the hiring and training of their staff and food for the community they serve.
Just because you are not in a wealthy suburb, does not mean that we in the Lee-Miles- Havard area deserve your CHOICE of low level purchased food. I don't expect it to be a 5 star establishment. But I have seen 5 star service, food and cleanliness at the Mcdonalds nearby located at 6225 Mayfield Rd, Mayfield Heights. Their food is superb.. and guess what? it is also just a McDonalds. I have tried to catch them off guard and the staff is always polite, the kitchen and the dining room is very clean the food is actually fresh...every...time.
So why Lee road, why is it always so stale, so hard, so bad for so long at your establishment?
If doordash would let you choose the exact location to buy food from I would have chose another location. But I took a gamble and I lost.
I should mention that their defense, the bread seemed really fresh and the extra sauce was added.. but it was impossible to bite down and chew on the fish. The pictures dont show chewed food, but it is pulled apart to show how dry it was, but I dont think the pictures actually show how stale it was.
Just to mention My experience with the staff from March 2025 , when making a run for a coworker - I was in the drive thru - the car in front of me finished their order but they blocked the speaker, I could not reach it to hear or to speak into the speaker. The staff member must not have had a camera view of this because you can faintly hear a voice coming through more than likely speaking to me or to other staff members. But as I said I was not close enough to hear. A few minutes later, I pulled up and I say in a polite voice " Hello" and the woman kindly replies - " Ma'am , I been said how can I help you" - that was highly unprofessional and I left the line to go across town to the the other McDonalds. Not everyone can do that, which is why I suppose their food and service stays sub-par.. you assume we won't complain or that we don't have the means to go somewhere else. I visited with my four-year-old daughter, anticipating the return of snack wraps, and placed an order for approximately four snack wraps and a Happy Meal. My wait time for this order was an unacceptable two hours. I observed a critical error where my order was mistakenly given to another customer before being retrieved and identified as mine. The employee involved in this incident was, to my recollection, named Rebecca M. During this extended wait, my daughter became understandably hungry and began to express her discomfort. I was appalled when the aforementioned employee, Rebecca M., addressed my four-year-old daughter with the highly unprofessional and insensitive remark, "quiet down, crybaby." This comment caused my daughter significant distress, leading her to cry even louder. After an additional two-hour wait, totaling approximately four hours for my order, I was presented with a charge of $150. This charge is inexplicable and appears to be a severe overcharge for the items ordered. When I questioned this amount, the employee, Rebecca M., reportedly stated that my child was "annoying," which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Given the combination of the excessive wait time, the mishandling of my order, the egregious overcharge, and the appalling treatment of my child by an employee, I felt compelled to leave the restaurant without my order and seek service elsewhere. (Yes I paid before leaving) Furthermore, I found the overall service to be extremely poor, and the atmosphere of the establishment was uncomfortably cold, causing my daughter to shiver and experience a runny nose. Read moreVery unprofessional and unsanitary especially inside the restaurant with very ghetto and pushy employees while customers try to get their orders.They always mess up orders beause when i came in on 3/28/22 i ordered a simple frappe with fries and when i got my order the frappe was messy without a straw and my fries were super hard.Its even worse when you order online because they will literaly not care about your order and they would through things inside your bag without any care for your food or drinks that made my order super messy with my frappe spilt across the whole bag with my food all over the place.I even caught a few workers eating food from orders that they were cooking and it made me stop eating here all together especially when they dont wear any hair nets or gloves while making your order is very nasty.To top it off the employees have very nasty attitudes and very bad manners when it comes to customers that are just trying to enjoy a good meal.I recommend not going here it will just waste your time with unprofessional workers and very disgusting people that don't care about customers or how to train their...
