We come here often since it's close to home, has decent food, and is comfortable to be in. Unfortunately today we were very disappointed. I understand a bad attitude once in a while, and how bad days happen BUT the "younger" lady that takes orders in the back of the restaurant has gotten worse over time. I bring my legally blind mother here a lot as well as older family members since they enjoy the nicer crew but the last two times the "younger" woman is rude and doesn't come back around for coffee. We waited for over an hour for her to just "pop" by the area to ask for coffee. Her excuse for the prior attitude was "I have an ear infection" and we smiled and said it's okay but today she doesn't even say hi and stood by our table just waiting for us to start our order with a cocky attitude even though we noticed she was super friendly to other tables (some had to ask for coffee as well since she didn't visit them either) so when she went by again I asked her if we upset her and that's why she didn't speak to us or refill our drinks. She instantly had an excuse of "I'm trying to work through my stomach pain" I would usually be very understanding but it was a select table grouping she was rude to, the rest she was laughing and making sure their...
Read moreLived in area for 13 yrs before visiting twice I, the last 3 week's. The interior has a oddly shaped design, though it is spacious enough not to seem congested. The ownership/staff pays attention to details like the clean lobby entrance. Inside, the floors and tables were clean and free of debris. Attentive and friendly staff is quick to reset the tables after patrons leave. The food is very tasty and the portions are plentiful. The most desirable aspect of this place are the menu prices; which reminds you of rhe 1980's.-$4.95 for a 2X4 (two LARGE pancakes, two bacon, two sausages, two eggs). Nothing on the menu for breakfast or lunch over about $10-$12. The place is open 7 days a week until 2pm. It is very refreshing to get a standard breakfast of eggs bacon potatoes toast and coffee without spending $30 to $40 for a...
Read moreMy good friend and I went there for a late lunch about 40 minutes before closing. I had been to the restaurant 2 years ago and really enjoyed their breakfast. So he took me there for lunch to try the food and we did have breakfast and he enjoyed it. The server was very polite and gave good service. However, 15 minutes before closing one of the other female employees made us very well aware that they were closing in 15 minutes. And even though she didn't say it she insinuated that we should hurry up and finish so they could close the restaurant. And she made it a point to tell her fellow co-worker as we were walking out the door to lock the door so nobody else would come in. The food was good and very hot and very filling but I was not pleased with the way that this female employee treated us and rushed us...
