Teriyaki Express — Restaurant in Cleveland

Got off work and on my home i tried calling the entire time i was on the way there to place a pick up order. Called them for 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. I get to the restaurant and just to be sure I wasn't dialing the wrong number i asked the lady what the number of the place was. As I was talking to her i could smell nothing but weed coming from the little window opening that she was talking from. After she told me the number it so happens it is the number i have been calling for 20 minutes and I explained this to her. She just looked at the phone and pressed a button and put it back down which makes me believe they had turned the ringer off. I walked out without ordering anything. I don't care if you wanna smoke weed on your break or whatever but at least do your job. This is the last chance i am ever giving them again. It would be different if this was the first time but it's not. They never pick up, they always have an attitude, they've gotten my order wrong twice before. I'm done with this place and the attitude. I had high hopes for this visit, especially after speaking with the owner who was incredibly kind and accommodating. We ordered four chicken teriyaki meals and two cheesesteaks, looking forward to a great experience. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn’t meet expectations—each item had some degree of overcooking. The bread was burnt, the steak overdone, and the vegetables in the teriyaki were overly charred, which affected the overall flavor. It’s possible that we came during a busy or late hour, as it was close to closing time (although we did call ahead). I genuinely believe the meals could be delicious if prepared with more care and attention. The flavors have potential, and the atmosphere was welcoming. It's called teriyaki express so I had to get teriyaki! It was good. Kinda dry. My boyfriend picked this up as a to go order. They put 2 kinda of sauce on the side but we had no idea what they could be. One smelled like soy sauce but had a strong taste of ginger. The other was white and I wasn't even giving that one a try. But next try I would get 3 times the sauce that comes on the dish. Once you mixed th3 veggies and the chicken and the rice all together you still had very dry rice and now no sauce on your chicken. The only reason I'm giving it such high star rating is because the quality was great and the portion was huge, my only complaint was the lack of sauce. Now that I know this I will always ask for extra extra and then extra again.
