Best pupusas and yucca(root veggie) in town hands down!!!! I was missing my favorite pupusas spot in San Mateo California (La Piñata) I got a new spot in Cleveland!! Yay! The curtido is super fresh and well seasoned, the salsa that comes with it is the best I have ever tasted. They also sell juices and Atole (hot corn drink that is sweet) . The customer service is friendly and they are attentive to the customers and they also have a little store that sells products from Central America (mostly from El Salvador) like cheeses, soft drinks, produce and sweets. If you like pupusas come here and try them you won’t regret it and if you have never had pupusas you have to try them they are so tasty and filling. Pupusas are like stuffed tortillas (kinda) they come with different fillings like the mixed one has pork, cheese and beans, or you can get beans and cheese. Order ahead for take out or eat...

It is very authentic El Salvadorian food that is cooked with lots of love in a family kitchen by some very good people. The food is priced well below what is should be.For $10 I eat lunch and still have leftovers for the next 2 days. The chicken pupusas and chicken tacos are...

When you order your food you can see and hear them chopping the vegetables, hand-making papusas and cooking everything fresh. The papusas and tacos are incredible and impossibly cheap (load it with the slaw, red sauce and house hot sauce).
I'm a big eater, and last time I went I had 2 papausas, 2 tacos and a horchata. Everything was phenomenal, I was so full I could barely stay awake, and I was only out about 12 bucks. I don't understand how this business model works out from a financial perspective, but I'll sure as hell enjoy it.
Two things to be aware of: They don't speak very good English here, but if you just use pointing and hand gestures they get it. Also, food takes a while to cook as everything is...
