This review will be short because well, there just isn't much to say. SMITH'S SODA SHOP in Cleveland GA had been on my radar to try for a few years now and I finally had the chance to take a ride and check them out. This is your classic diner type of experience with stand alone chairs facing the cooks over the counter and a few booths, very small inside. They are huge COCA-COLA fans and have a bunch of memorabilia on their walls, pretty cool. Their double cheeseburger was small in size but juicy, but lacked anything that would make it special. Their fries are OK and have a steak cut to them which means they have to be well cooked or they'll be soggy and my preference is crispy and well done, which this was not. The young lady that took my order was either having a bad day or just didn't like bikers because friendly customer service was just not there. She took my order, said nothing then brought my meal and said nothing... that was the extent of her customer service. There was an older gentlemen and lady in there as well helping other guests and they seemed very friendly and pleasant though. When I was done eating I was quite embarrassed because they do not accept cards which I did not realize before sitting down, ordering and eating my meal. They kindly allowed me to leave their establishment to get some cash (INGLES around the corner) and come back to pay my fair share of their meal. The meal was very small but so was the cost so you have to take that into account. The views on the way there can be spectacular if you avoid the main roads and just take a few back roads. If you're in the area and give them a try let me know what you're experience is like and what type of service you get! I'd be curious to know but make sure you bring cash!! Roli's Rating: Service: 5/10, My waitress didn't care about customer service but I saw the other staff interacting and being friendly with their guests plus I was allowed to go grab cash and told, with a smile "no problem at all, we'll be here". I suppose service will depend on who you get as your server Price: 10/10, Their meals are on the smaller side but you'll easily be able to get a burger, fries and a drink for about $6 Location and Parking: 7/10, Location isn't too bad as this location is right down the road from the downtown Cleveland area. Parking isn't too bad either although I can see it getting a little tight when busy Cleanliness: 10/10, Place seemed to be pretty clean Health Rating: A Roli Overall Rating: 5/10, Ok spot to stop by only if you're in the immediate area Roli's Recommendations BURGERS, CHILI...

As any food lover knows, these are typically the places where you find the best meals, and Smith's is no exception. The place is run by three incredibly nice people who take your orders and cook your food right there. They were super kind and got our food to us quickly, which is always a plus.We went with the classic burger and fries, and you could tell immediately that the burgers were made from fresh ground beef, formed into patties with care. The fries were Ore-Ida crinkle cuts, but honestly, they were just right alongside the burger. With great prices and delicious food, I would 100%...
Read moreWe walked in and the owners just stared at us. Obviously we are from out of town, but we didnât know if we should sit or approach the counter. We own a restaurant back home and try to help people navigate our small place and our menu. Not so much here.
The food was quick and hot, and the burgers were delicious. Tiny little sides of fries, grilled cheese was the size I would serve to a small child, but everything is very cheap so you canât really complain about that. The restroom is so godawful gross that Iâm so glad I ate first and didnât see that. Walls are splattered with years of⌠bathroom use. Please have...
