Speedy's Grub Shack and Gas Station — Restaurant in Cleveland

Man, this is an interesting joint.

The good: the food is great, We got the Buffalo chicken fries which were the star of the show. The fries were well cooked, the chicken was good and the sauce/ranch combo was a nice dressing for this item. The chopped cheese was so good, I was debating between the chop cheese and the cheese steak and got the chopped. This was very good with the right amount of juice to meat to bun. My nephew ordered the quesadilla and I got half (for half my chopped cheese) this was a close competition for my favorite food from here and it ended up being my nephews favorite and my 2nd favorite item. Lastly, we ordered the 6 piece chicken strip snack which were very good, if a little chewy, we wanted mac and cheese as a side, but that was out so we got the Jojos instead which were very good.

The frustrating: don't ask someone what they want on something when ordering it from the menu, let them request changes. I think the wrong tickets were saved for our food so there was a delay, no big deal but it took a long time for the food to come out due to this.

The weird: we decided to eat in the parking lot which was a interesting place. In the time we sat there we saw a couple ambulances drive by and heard 2 people get into a argument over a gas pump so intensely that they were threatening to shoot each other.

Because of this last part I'm giving the ambiance 5 because that was entertaining AF.

I love this place! I use to live a short walk away an this was my go to. The Gas is always less than near by competitors. The Staff always on point. The food...I had to go into detox because I couldn't get enough of their wings, corned beef and subs! Lol they chicken is awesome! I like Smirinoff Orange Smash, and they always accommodate! I moved to the Eastside and I still buy my Smash and gas, plus cigarettes there, they have the best prices. Can't find my cigarettes over except at one..Gas station, and the Orange Smash??? Unheard of over here! I've requested them but to no avail, so I still get what I need here. They are almost always busy! But when you got what people need and it's cheaper and good.....I expect you to be. Good job guys! We miss seeing you...

I was a tad skeptical about grabbing food here, until I watched them cook it. As a vegetarian I can hardly find satisfying dinner that I dont cook myself, if I do find a meal out, it's usually not cheap.

I ordered their Impossible burger but built like their Mushroom Burger. (It was a veggie patty with mushrooms and melted swiss perfection on an AMAZING fresh bun toasted) It was the best burger I have had in years, frfr. My fiance ordered a Philly Cheese steak (which was a foot long) combo for $8.99 and he said it was so good, even better than Penn Station
