5/5 Stars: A Smoky Masterpiece at Sweet Pork Wilson’s BBQ We are first time visitors to Cleveland and were searching for the perfect barbecue place while here. We could smell the aroma blocks away so did a search and I'm thrilled to report that we found it! Sweet Pork Wilson’s has won us over! This unassuming spot close to downtown is a hidden gem that serves up some of the most tender, flavorful 'cue we’ve ever had the pleasure of devouring. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of slow-cooked meats wafted through the air, tantalizing our taste buds and building anticipation. Our server Jessica, friendly and knowledgeable, helped us navigate the menu, which features a range of meats smoked to perfection! Jason and Ramadi heard it was our first time here so they brought out some samples to try, and every one of them was better than the one before! We started with the homemade fried pickles, then ordered the 3 and 3 sampler platter, which arrived promptly at our table, piled high with a generous selection of meats and sides. The star of the show was undoubtedly the brisket, which melted in our mouths with an incredible tenderness and flavor profile. The smokiness was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness from the brown sugar and spices. The pork ribs were equally impressive, with a rich, velvety texture and and fall off the bone delight. The collard greens and mashed potatoes are divine!!! Ohh and let’s not forget the corn bread, moist and grilled slightly in butter! Jason then had us try the chicken wings, which after eating them I suggest Buffalo folks should definitely try!! All in all, it was a totally delightful dining experience and we highly recommend you come in and experience for yourself!! You won’t be disappointed!!
