We camped at this property when I visited my daughter in July 2025 for 5 days. We did not have any the wine or go to the patio area as we were in Cleveland to visit daughter and family. We were there for the camping. The camping is on a cement pad, not grass sites. We were in an older minihome with a U-Haul trailer. The owner had us park the U-Haul next to the trailered powerboat being stored at the end of the cement pad. There were two toilets on site, but one did not have TP or soap in it. The other had TP but no soap. For the five days we stayed there, this never was refilled. Though the owner will say he is there nearly 24/7, we rarely saw him as we were gone during the daylight hrs. When we did talk with the owner, he was very condescending, borderline rude. After I left a poor review for this place on the HipCamp site, shortly after we pulled out, the owner lashed out stating I left the review after he had complained to HipCamp. This is untrue and we have never received from HipCamp. He went on to say we were unclean. Our rig is older but it is clean and we had NO trash around our rig or by the U-haul. My husband is a smoker but NEVER left a cigarette butt on the ground. We, as well as my daughter and SIL, did not see ANY “No Smoking in Premises” signs nor was it stated in the HipCamp description. His rebuttal to my review was just a lashing out against someone that gave a poor review. This is a good place to camp in Cleveland city but just be watchful...
Read moreTruly a Cleveland gem, Vino Veritas Cellars has events going on whether it be live music, food trucks, goat yoga, or when I was there, Sip and Paint! The owner brings so much life to his corner lot; providing a space for small businesses, rescuing animals, and providing a private getaway for those on the west side! The owner is a family man who has decided to graciously share his love of wine (you have to try the Sicilian Stallion!) and love of animals with the community. Located in the back is a sanctuary where you can watch chickens, goats, pigs, and bunnies while the ducks swim on the pond. In the evening there are picnic tables which have string lights overhead which create a beautiful ambiance as you sip your wine and converse with friends. Can’t relax? There are yard games located at the front and a friendly cat and dog who will keep you company as you walk the property! Such a lovely business through...
Read moreIt appears the good reviews this place has were from people visiting for events, not camping. I would NEVER recommend camping here!
Family visiting from out of town camped here becuase it was conveniently located and had some good reviews. The owner was not accommodating, and very rude from the first encounter. There were no other campers, and no events going on during the week of our family's stay, but he complained about us parking our car in the parking area inside the fenced grounds where customers park for events.
If you just need a place to park for an overnight stay, it may be acceptable, but for a camping experience, this would NOT be the...
