Upper Montclair Country Club — Restaurant in Clifton

Attending the Cognizant Founders Cup LPGA professional golf tournament at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, NJ was an outstanding experience.

Upper Montclair Country Club is an amazing location for a golf event.

LPGA players in the Cognizant Founders Cup and their teams are extremely talented and watching the connectivity between players, coaches, and caddies was impressive.

This was my first time attending a professional golf tournament. Attending the Saturday before the final day was a great decision because maneuvering around the course, meeting players and their teams as well as enjoying all the facilities at the course was seamless.

Staff, Managers, Administrators, Members, of UMCC your location is a diamond. The LPGA and UMCC teams executed this event exceptionally well.

I was a member at UMCC for 4 years and had great memories of the food and staff. I was there this time for a golf outing and was looking forward to my previous great experiences. The course was awesome as I remembered. Our Caddy was new and not experienced. When it came to Lunch, the hot dogs and bergers were cold. The beverage folks stationed around the course were great. My complaint is the catering people and dinner portion of the outing. They barely came out with enough appetizers to pass around. The outside area was split by the bar and half the room was like being a second class citizen. Only half the tables had linens. The food was sparse and not being changed out quick enough. The worst part is there did not appear to be a manager around to check on things. They ran out of plates with a huge line and no one to get them. Very disappointed...

Although I have lived in the area for many years and absolutely zero idea that I passed this County Club, pretty much every day.

I went to lunch at the Country Club with a member of the club. My impression was that it was a nice restaurant.

The members made me feel like a main reason that they become members with their only child, is because they want the child to never be upset and always experience only the absolutely perfect holidays. Members don’t have to plan, prepare, set up and break down at all.

It seems like the days are sanitized, and planned to ensure not one tear ever couple happen.
