Located in the Richfield Shopping Center is a specialty dessert shop.

Chocolate House had me at Dubai the same way Jerry Maguire had Dorothy Boyd at “Hello.”

Dubai Strawberry Cup: The cup of chocolate covered strawberries comes with a syringe. The chocolate slightly hardens as it stands

It was fun using the one time only syringe for a splash of more chocolate. For once, I actually did not fear the sight of a needle.

Dubai Shake: The frozen milkshake was surrounded with a thin chocolate shell. It is time to get cracking; crack the coating so you get tiny chocolate pieces mixed in with the rich, frosty drink.

As a bonus, there is a thicker shell on the bottom of this drink if you want that extra bite of Dubai chocolate.

Dubai Crepe: The crepe is packed with Kunafa and topped with pistachio pieces. The delicate thin pastry had a light texture with slightly crispy edges.

Dubai Churros: Lined up like bowling pins, the churros were hot, chocolatey, and gooey on the outside while spongy on the inside., I cleared them the same way a speeding bowling ball clears the pins off the pin deck!

It is now time to say goodbye to Dubai as I had a “dubaightful” day during this stay.

We finally got the chance to experience the new chocolate house in the former location of Boston Market. We were greeted immediately by the employee at the register who handed us two menus so we could each look through them and pick out what we wanted. The perfect way to greet customers. We then decided on the banana crepe and Cap'n Crunch Berry Shake. The Crepe was very sweet and we we're glad we were sharing it. They didn't scrimp on the filling or topping. The Captain Crunch berry shake was better than expected with crunch Berry flavor throughout the whole Shake and not limited to only the crunch berries on the whipped cream. There are several spots here for beautiful photos including the wall with the chocolate house name and the chocolate fountain in the middle of the room. With the new burger place only a couple doors away this makes for an excellent place to get a dessert afterward. Bring your appetites you're going to need it!

My friends and I were ESPECIALLY impressed with this place. Let's be honest: usually the only good crepes one can find in North America are in Quebec, so we arrived expecting a below-par culinary experience. What we discovered was the precise opposite. My partner and I ordered the blueberry cheesecake crepe and it was spectacular (he is Belgian, and even he was impressed!). The flavors were well balanced, and it was sweet but not too sweet. I enjoyed it so much that I returned with another friend (who has been obsessed with crepes ever since a trip to Paris when she was a teenager) just a few weeks later. It was less busy than it was the first time I went, so we asked for some ordering advice from this really nice employee named Obai (he was also incredibly hot, but that isn't relevant to the story).
