Gigi's Italian To Go — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Just had to share about Gigi's Italian To Go! We picked up some lunch there the other day and headed straight to a nearby park – it was a really nice day for it, perfect for an outdoor meal. If you're craving truly homemade Sicilian food, you've found your spot. And oh my gosh, the food! That muffuletta is seriously amazing. So flavorful and perfectly put together, you can tell it's made with care. And their ammoglio? Absolutely delicious. It tasted so fresh and authentic, like something straight out of a Sicilian kitchen. We also grabbed some cannolis, and wow, they were the perfect sweet treat to finish off lunch. Beyond the incredible food, the people at Gigi's are just fantastic. They're super friendly, warm, and welcoming, always up for a little chat. It really makes the whole experience feel special. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Sicilian takeout, especially for a lovely day out at the park, Gigi's Italian To Go is an absolute must-try....

Some of my fondest memories are being in the kitchen with my Nanna & Nonna on Sundays making family dinner for everyone. The aromas, the sounds the vibes the culture everything about GIGIS took me back for just a split second to a young boy looking up at my Nanna to let me taste her sauce off of her wooden spoon that she also used to spank us with!

This is a must try !! Sorry for a lack of photos it was so delicious as soon as I tasted I devoured every last bite before I even knew it.

Ordered the meatball sub and a to-go lasagna. Exceeded all expectations.

The sub was HUGE, covered me for two meals and was delicious. The bread is fantastic, recommend getting the hard loaf rather than the soft. The sauce is so good I purchased a container of it to use at home. The ready-to-go lasagna was great too, warmed it up in the microwave and it was just like a home cooked meal.

I'm so sick of chains opening up around Macomb, so it was refreshing to see a family owned restaurant that was unapologetically family owned. The family photo wall was sweet to see, and the murals all over the wall really make the place look home-y.
