This was my first and last time eating here. The menu is misleading. The food was soggy and under seasoned. I ordered a shawarma and fries thinking they would be separate... instead they stuff soggy fries into the shawarma along with watery tomatoes, green beans!?!?!?! and some unknown gooey substance inside that doesn't taste much like garlic. The pita was gooey and the texture was disgusting inside my mouth. Inedible... it's a shame I spent over 50$ and in the end just had to cook myself dinner.
They cheap out and make Greek salad with odd tasting black olive slices and giant chunks of tomatoes that I had to cut myself. It's sad when national coney island along with pretty much every other cheap restaurant makes a better Greek salad than this place. My chicken lemon rice soup has carrots in it and just tastes like a light egg drop soup which makes absolutely no sense.... I wish I could just bring the food back and have a refund.
Edit** These clowns have called me 20 or more times in less than 15 hours. I don't think they're getting the hint that at this point I dont care to even go there for a refund nor speak with them. Especially after their response to my review. Borderline harassment at this point and embarrassing to say the least. I've blocked the restaurants phone number and then they just switch phones and spam me with that number. So anytime you get a bad review you spam call people and go on the defensive with your response. Gotcha. Clearly if you read through your reviews people that get the shawarma and fries are also confused as to why its stuffed inside the pita, or they just think they didnt get fries. There is absolutley no description online for a lot of your dishes and it's causes confusion. Maybe instead of trying to pass the blame on me by saying I didnt understand your menu; you could instead fix the problem and apologize for the confusion. However my last order the lamb chops was extremely tough to the point after trying to cook with a little water and bbq sauce hoping it would make them tender. After trying this they still were tough where I had to throw the meat out. I ordered them on Wednesday 7/3 to eat on the 4th. I called Friday 7/5 to let the owner know the order was inedible, I even said I understand everyone has a bad day. He was very rude telling me I should’ve ate them the same day and I shouldn’t have used Grubhub- (a service they agreed to use), yelling telling me to listen and I wasn’t rude to deserve to be treated like that. I explained food properly made should be good to eat the next day. He went on telling me where he ordered his meat and just talking nonsense. I paid $41 , yes a mark up for using Grubhub, but I just wanted a replacement since I had to throw my food away and didn’t have anything to eat on the 4th but 2 frozen White Castle burgers. Again I mentioned things happen and I’m a good customer.. I order food from them at least 3 times a month. After going back and forth with him he offered to make me FOUR lamb chops but the dinner comes with 5. I don’t understand why he offered 4. I was appalled at how he debated with me and offering a good customer nothing but excuses, be argumentative and 4 little lamb chops. I didn’t accept his offer and will never go back there again. You treat customers with respect and you treat your frequent customers better than this. To be honest his chops are always a bit tough, but I was always able to eat them. This order was like eating a leather belt, I couldn’t even bite the meat. I hope they treat their customers better than how I was treated, I’ll never go back. I called the restaurant and explained to them that the meat sandwich was just with a little Tahina onions and meat only that they had included pickle and tomato on the sandwich and I emphasize three separate times only meat, onions and sauce . Two of the other sandwiches were to be chicken and I received beef . I went to return the sandwiches to get the correct sandwiches and the employee told me I should’ve known there’s a problem you’re from the Middle East I don’t have any problems with Americans at the Middle East had problems with . I was a little shocked at his racist attitude . Explain to me that I would have to pay for the two meat sandwiches because I did not say no tomato no pickle I said, only meat sauce and onions . I couldn’t get out of there fast enough I was appalled at their behavior, but my wife was not well wanted to sandwich so I paid for the sandwiches again then they double down how they would replace the meat sandwiches that were supposed to be chicken because that was their fault .
