pulled in the drive thru at 7pm, seen the line was wrapped around the building, as per usual at this location, so I went inside because there were fewer people.
upon walking in, I picked a random van out of the drive thru line and said to myself, "I bet I can get in and out before that van even gets to the speaker". I go inside, order my food to only wait a non-exaggerated 25 minutes. the people in front of me are getting their food at below snails pace and the line forming behind me has literally filled up the lobby and the drive thru line has reached 2/3rds of the way to groesbeck. staff and management had ZERO sense of urgency to get these customers/ cars in and out, they all seemed to be too busy talking and laughing to each other and working literally AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE if you could even consider what they were doing to be "working" while also screwing up 3 out of the 4 orders that were before me.
I finally get my food, as to my surprise my order was actually correct (I guess there is a God out there) I walk out to my truck only to see that same van I mentioned earlier, in the same exact place, in the drive thru line. the whole time I was inside, the drive thru didn't move 1 single car.....IN 25 MINUTES.
this seems to be a reoccurring issue with this taco bell for years. from being slow, messing up countless orders (even the simplest of ones), to unmotivated/ downright rude staff and management. god forbid you ask for a drink holder, the staff will treat you as if you had leprosy. (no joke, ask for one, see what happens)
all in all, after eating at this taco bell literally for the last 28 years, I give it one star. Hell, id give it two stars if i was stoned out of my mind waiting on my food. at least I would've forgotten how long id been standing there while scrolling up and down my facebook feed.
do yourself a solid favor... go to another one.
Taco Bell, do yourself a solid favor... fire everybody at this store. probably the only way you can save this...
Read moreUpdate: Also this restaurants employees are very very rude when you place an order in the drive thru they just say go ahead with your order then they just tell you to drive up to the 2nd window, Then when you get to the 2nd window they just ask if you want a drink carrier even when you have 4 drinks and then hand you your drinks and food. End of interaction. No customer service what so ever. No hello welcome to taco bell what can I get for you like mostly all of the other tacos bells do and no here's your order enjoy your day or thank you have a good day. Nothing. It's absolutely horrible. It's a shame that these establishment allow people like this to work for them. It's make you feel as a customer that they are annoyed because you choose to eat at that taco bell because now they have to work and they don't want to. Like it's my fault they had to get a job. I have worked in customer service for 20+ years and currently still do I know if I ever treated any of our clients like this I would get written up and talked to. Not to mention maybe terminated depending how many times you got talked to. I need to stop going to this location and start going to the location on Gratiot and 16 mile. The employees there are so nice and have excellent customer service. Not like management cares because I am adding on to a previous review that I left and still no one from management cares to reach out. End of rant. They always manage to get part of your order wrong...ordered nacho supreme with no beans...get home no sour cream or tomatoes only chips, cheese and beef. I go back up to taco bell after calling them they fixed that issue...but I forgot to order my daughter a Dorito taco with no lettuce so I order a Dorito taco with no lettuce....when I get home I give my daughter her taco guess what the taco has lettuce on it. Read moreAwful service. Waited over 15 min for our food inside of restaurant. Then when I received I went thru the bag. Of course it wasn't right and missing stuff. I then tell the girl behind counter and she was rude and stated she already gave me an extra taco while I fact she forgot the bottom half of the order. The manager/shift leader stood and watched all of this. Never offered an apology not nothing but attitude from their staff. While I was there waiting along with several other patrons waiting on their orders the employees stood around and didn't do anything to help. Instead a young lady is standing at the counter putting lids on cups that contains the slushy type drinks. Ok this seems like to big deal right... well as she was putting on the lids her bands and fingers we all over the inside of lids and cup. She was wearing no gloves!!!!!! She was going between collecting money at drive thru and putting these lids on (again fingers all over cup insdie and lids on thd inside and tossing them in an empty cardboard box (dirty box). This cannot be sanitary!!! Oh she also was scratching her hair at the nape of her neck and then continued to put these lids on again NO GLOVES!!! UNSANITARY CONDITIONS!!! THIS IS NOT MY FIRST BAD EXPIERIENCE at this location! Due to this and the nastiness I witnessed, I will never patronize this restaurant again. With all the flu and hepatitis being a large concern I feel as if Taco Bell (Groesbeck ave between 14 and 15 mile road) has no care for their customers to allow this kind...
