B's Almost Home American Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Clinton

May not look like much from the outside, but don’t let this hidden gem fool you!! Amazing food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and the staff is amazing as well!! I just moved to Clinton from Chicago, over 2 hours away, literally knowing nothing about this town or area aside from my address lol… and after helping me move, my family wanted to take me to lunch before returning to Chicago, and relying on Google, we picked B’s due to the high ratings and rave reviews… they did NOT disappoint!! We have a thing where we order specific things from every new place we go to that are our favorites, and we’re kinda picky lol, but the 5 of us absolutely LOVED our food!! The waitress was also awesome, and after learning I was new to Clinton, she took the time to fill us in on the area, all of the must hit places etc. It was very helpful and much appreciated!! The fact that it’s walking distance from my house is an added bonus… I will definitely be a future...

No one was in the dining area when we entered. I ordered coffee - never got it. "Homemade pizza sauce" tasted like it was straight out of a can. Server mixed up our bill with the next table- about half of what it should have been. To her credit, she was going to pay the difference out of her own pocket. Stopped for a quick bite to catch up with a friend I hadn't seen in ages. Owners were really welcoming, and the service was fantastic. They chatted us up and made recommendations on popular menu items. I was surprised there was a table open for us. Delicious appetizers, we shared the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. The bartender made excellent drinks! Will be back...
