Our group order all you can eat rib dinners alone with everybody else's dinners and it was a total waste.
We waited for our first orders thinking they was a little behind, then notice there was not hardly anyone in the restaurant.
We finely received our first orders that didn't have many ribs, I thought it's okay being all you can eat.
Little did we know we was up for a huge surprise!!!!
Walking by the pickles and limons should of been a dead give away, they had cups every as a buffet with everything wiped out.
We ate our few ribs and went back up to ge re-orders with a couple rids in each tray, I asked could we please get a few more these two be gone time we reach the table...lol
He said it would be 20 minutes on the re-orders, we set our health tracker for 25 minutes gave them 5 extra minutes.
Went back up and they said 6 more minutes on the ribs, we gave them a couple extra minutes.
We went back up and they said 7 more minutes, again we gave them a few more minutes.
Still no ribs being on Keto we was beyond hungry, looking forward to eating some dry ribs.
However, we was willing to eat anything at this point after paying $16.99 for all you rib dinner and force to eat pickles.
I then asked do y'all have ANY TYPE OF RIBS IN THE BUILDING AT ALL.
They said that they only have wet ribs, I told my son I'm willing to eat anything besides pickles for $16.99
We got our one tray that had five wet ribs to share at the table.
I said look everybody is eating pickles.
Walking back to our table this huge guy confronted us and said you guys just went up there and got my ribs.
I told him "no" they handed me from a refill basket.
He said I haven't got my first orders yet and "everybody" standing up there is still waiting on their FIRST ORDER OF RIBS!!!
I said man don't feel bad we only got three ribs each on our first order and been waiting like 45 minutes on more.
We took our five wet rids to our table as this huge guy kelp stairing at us.
These ribs was hard as a bone to hard to eat beyond jerky...
Then came the server out with a huge refill basket full of ribs walked pass us straight over to this huge guys table and unloaded, we figured he was a regular customer... 😂 And the server knew best..
We was still eating our pickles and lemon the poor server looked at us and said he was sorry about that and said I will he would be right back.
We was at ease knowing that guy got his ribs before things got really bad..
Then after a while we finally got our refill of ribs being warned that they was so hot that they would burn our skin off our lips..
Even after he warned us we was beyond hungry and we still got burnt as the ribs where still frying, they had just came out of the deep fryer.
We asked the Manager and was told that those ribs were deep fried, cause they was running behind... NASTY 😝😝
What a waste of time, money and gas!!! 😡😠
Our son drove like a three hour round trip just to eat at BUDDY'S BBQ
We drove like a two hour round trip to eat at BUDDY'S BBQ, what a waste of time, money and gas..

Read moreWe were passing through town and brought our family here for dinner. I don't typically leave reviews but for other families I think it might be helpful...most of the staff was very friendly and it was a very clean environment which is always appreciated. However, the person who took our order got it wrong and four of us didn't have meals. When I ordered my brisket without a bun but a large size and got my plate I was shocked at how little meat was on my plate. When we went up to wait for our other four meals he asked what we were waiting for and that's when he realized he never put those meals on our order. I also asked if mine was indeed a large and he said yes it's 2.5 oz of meat....for $13. A very small smattering of fries. Then half our children's kids meals came with a cookie and the other for meals we had to re order didn't come with one although it is advertised they just forgot. So my husband waited several minutes in line to get the other cookies. Oh and both his and my brisket meals and fried were cold when we got them 😬 and one employee up at the front counter was nicely told by another employee to take orders from the growing line of customers and he threw a fit in front of all the customers saying he was too busy. Very unprofessional. All in all, we did not get our money's worth from this...
Read moreA few weeks ago my husband was ubering and had someone high up in the company in his car, the guy said he was family of the founder or something like that.... he pulled put a huge stack of free pulled pork meal card hour of his bag and gave my husband 5 and said we could use them all in one transaction at buddy's for our family. We thought it was super sweet. The coupons even said "one per customer per order" which means each person there in person can use one. My husband and I went out for dinner and tried to use two and we were both present. Diane (I think was her name the team lead/supervisor) was the rudest person I've ever dealt with. She started with we couldn't use two in one order. I tried to explain what the coupon said (for the record very nicely just thinking maybe they have multiple types of coupons and some are per order and not per customer) and she interrupted me and did it by not yelling but raising her voice to tell me "it's ONE per order but I'll do it this time I guess". I was so shocked I couldn't say anything. Never again will I go here. Train your workers better. This is not customer service. Communication is key and we should be able to talk to one another and set future...
