Traveling home from Gatlinburg to Michigan we decided to stop at Stoney’s for breakfast we looked at the menu online first and it showed quite a variety of breakfast choices however, there were literally only 3 choices on the actual menu witch was annoying but we’re already here right… we had to ask the server several tubes for simple things like coffee creamer, napkins, etc BUT then when she brought the food exciting looked ok when I went to pick the syrup up by the handle the whole thing came apart syrup went everywhere!!! So frustrated but trying to just remain calm, the manager was close by so we asked for something to clean the mess up with he literally put us on hold to go seat more guests!! There’s syrup everywhere! He then brings back more dry napkins we had to explain this was going to require a wet cloth they didn’t offer to help clean it up replace plates that were ruined or take anything off the bill… sorry Shoneys but I’ll never stop at another one and we usually tip very well…. Last Sunday my sister and I came into this location to pick up our mom some fish (her most fave off the hot bar) The sweet most courteous Hostess Cashier name Jennifer Waldo immediately assisted us with our order, so she gave us a to go tray and we proceed to the buffet area, she walked back to let us know of another dinner option where we could purchase more sides for a different price which was amazing! We were able to fill my tray with all her favorite side dishes) Imagine how thrilled we were because Mom is 88 her appetite is not strong, so this tray of food would last a few days. To say Ms Waldo customer service was exceptional doesn't seem enough, her pleasant manner and helpful demeanor was so refreshing! She even bag our food with extra plastic ware. We were so satisfied and Mom enjoyed the fresh delicious food tremendously, we look forward to coming back next week. 5 stars for this wonderful Shoneys location (so clean and welcoming) 10 stars for Ms...

Every time we go in, the staff is wonderful. We are in fairly regularly, and it is always clean and well-stocked on the buffet. Personally, I prefer ordering off of the menu (not just there - at any buffet), and my food is always delicious. On the VERY rare occasion that something is incorrect (it happens at every restaurant at some point), it is quickly fixed and the manager as well as the server will always come by to apologize - even though it's really unnecessary! - and make sure we are taken care of. Our last few visits have blessed us with Jordan as our server. We have never had bad service, and they are all as sweet as can be, but Jordan has especially stood out to me. She is super attentive, friendly, and just an all-around doll. She always has a smile on her face and makes a point to remember what I always order, offer suggestions if I'm in the mood for something different, and even jokes around with my kids.
