Usually this place is very great with customer service, but I went there today around 8 and it just seems to losing focus of the customers. I would like to leave a good review for a waitress named Kim. The original estríes of my table was not doing her job. I watched her stand and look around and maybe take one order. A customer and myself had to clean off the tables so people could sit because the waitress for those booths was too busy goofing off she wasn’t paying attention to the customers. Kim was very kind and I didn’t see her stop moving once while I was there. If I had known the other waitresses name I would say it. We waited 30 minutes for our food which I wouldn’t have minded the wait if the food had not been cold when we got it. Usually I am very understanding when it comes to waiting because I myself have worked fast food and know how hard it can be sometimes to manage everything. But there is a difference in managing all the orders and business and just pure laziness. It wasn’t until the manager came into the store that my original waitress starting to actually do something. I apologize if this is coming off to be rude just Wanted to express my opinion on how unprofessional my waitress was. I truly can not describe the disappointment I felt watching customers stand while there were plenty of empty tables but no one was making the effort to clean them. Sadly, it wasn’t even busy. Some waitress just need to be trained a little more and have more expected of them than just standing behind a counter looking around. I want to thank Kim for making sure my family and I were taken care of. If it wasn’t for her there is no telling how long it would’ve taken for us to...
Read moreNot a typical Waffle House experience that I would expect. The husband had a whole cup of coffee drank before they took our order to which the waitress blamed on a rush of people (which definitely wasn’t the case). After enough time had passed we began watching for our order to he brought to us when we hear her call out our order to the cook...seriously!? I’m shocked that this waitress is delaying her tasks to the point that it’s significantly impacting her job performance. Job performance in the restaurant business is critical to customer experience and my experience was very poor thus far. Mind you, she was friendly each time she interacted with us even though each of my replies was politely sarcastic. I’m fairly certain she could tell I wasn’t satisfied when I left... Not only did this happen but, as I was leaving I saw the staff completely disregard a toddler that someone sat down on top of the bar with nothing more than a diaper and a T-shirt to nibble on hash browns. A waitress came up and started kissing on the baby so it appeared to be hers so, I guess that makes it alright to let the baby swish it’s bare feet all over the counter around all this food that they are preparing for others. I wasn’t satisfied when I was at my table and I...
Read moreI'm going to preface this review by saying that this is the best waffle house I have ever been to. I had been in the car all day, road tripping down the 75, when I stopped to drop off some coffee at a local filling station. As I was clambering back in my vehicle, I noticed a large, yellow, heavyset sign out my pseudo-tinted windows. Embossed in the golden quadrangles were two very easily readable words: "Waffle," followed stylistically beneath it by "House," (the font was very legible). I was mildly intrigued by this sign so I followed its radiant glow to what was, disappointingly, not a house made of waffles. Nevertheless, I entered the establishment, and was warmly greeted by the smell of sweet dough and the rich scent of fresh Colombian coffee. Perhaps more inviting was the face of the cute, little southern girl behind the counter. She smiled at me. I smiled back. She asked if I wanted a menu. I said, "there's no need my fair lady, I am simply here for a single waffle," and sent a wink her way. We transacted. When I was served the waffle under three minutes later, I already had my utensils at the ready to dig right in.
The waffle was...
