This place is awesome and I have come to know the owner. I can never say enough good things about the owner. They have new, used and really fantastic items that are and could be considered antique. They have helped me in so many ways. I have found bargains there that blows others' minds when I have to get help in bringing them into the house or family homes where they were purchased for. They sell Quality merchandise and bargains and the owner is very much involved in this big inside flea market and whoever is assisting him is always helpful and nice to the customers. I am so glad that Clover has a place like this. I know I am repeating myself, but I could never, ever say enough good things about the owner who has helped me and my extended family around Clover that I could never in such a short space explain except that he knows what he is doing, tries to help customers and is an awesome person. I have always been a budget-minded person with discipline, but when I visit, I know to bring enough money because I always find great things and overspend my budget but I get the expense paid out back in stocking up on quality purchases that I don't have to go to another store, that is 10-25 miles away when I need those items in the future. The quality, quantity and the ability to buy new and used things here that I could not buy at that price in the entire Charlotte Metro area. Once in my extended family, we had two older individuals who were terminally ill. The owner who always speaks to me when I come in, kinda acted as if he knew something was wrong I suppose by the way I acted as I was one of the caregivers in my extended family. He asked me what I was looking for and how things were going and before I knew it, I had told him what I needed to take care of my loved ones and blurted it out I suppose because of the stress I was under at that time. He just patiently took over, showed me that he had everything I needed and he and another man installed the wheel chair lift, hospital bed, healthcare items and supplies that I needed, hooked up the electrical to my truck, asked me what else I needed and I drove away with problems I was facing gone (because I stopped there), I didn't have to drive to Gastonia or a bigger city to purchase these items. I drove away with all I needed and plus helpful instructions on how to use those items. The owner may never know the load he took off my shoulders that day. I came away with what my family needed to take patients to the physicians, plus new and quality items that go into taking care of people who start to go downhill and do not pass on quickly. Sometimes, others and I hope no one has to face this, but when your extended family crosses a state line and one has to deal with two state or counties in different states, that in itself presents problems when someone in your family is terminally ill and may live another years or so before passing. The red-tape due to being in one state and 5 miles up the road taking care of an extended and elderly family member in another state is so troubling and living right on a state line here in America complicates almost everything. Things, situations and needs that many people would never understand and sometimes I have felt the bureaucracy are so overloaded with people seeking help until they are burned out and seemingly don't care enough to help people who have never asked for just advice, assistance or instructions about how to go about navigating the healthcare system here in America. Take time to go in, don't rush and look and examine for yourself. Some people walk into flea markets and especially the inside ones and just rush through and don't see the merchandise and give the shopping visit time to examine and find excellent bargains, ask the people if you need to, they are very helpful and always assist you. I know that I have just given away one of Clover's best kept secrets by telling all of this, but you will save money and walk out the door wanting...
ย ย ย Read moreNot super impressed...a lot of 2nd hand Walmart products, only for some reason this place believes they can charge more than one would have paid originally at Walmart. The business is super old school - cash only, although it does have an ATM for "convenience", and a withdrawal fee that adds to the overall expense of the trip. Also - "open air" is a polite way of saying it's an unairconditioned building with attached dirt floor warehouse. A good deal might be had if someone is willing to dig through the random assortment of products. Next time, it's a...
