La Cazuela Restaurant — Restaurant in Coachella

Talk about rude ! (Service) Was my first and last time coming here.

Not from around the area and I thought I’d try this place and order to go. At first glance, I get that it’s not designed to order for a walk-ins by the fact that there are no menus on the wall. So walked up to the cashier. I asked for menu .. she was all giggles with the guy before me. But as I placed an order she was very short with me ?? Did I offend by not sitting down to order ?? What ever…. Maybe she’s busy. ?

But, what made me write this was the total lack of customer service as she slams my to-go order in front of me and disdainfully says “Gracias”. With no eye contact as she hurriedly walked way.

Wow….I thought you treat customers with kindness and maybe they might spread the word or...

My child found a hair in his last bit of taco. Then I found a hair in my food. When we told the waitress who was great, she apologized. I told her we are not trying to get of paying because we had already eaten our food, however she came back and told us the cook said there was no hair in our food, saids the elderly grey haired woman with a long loose ponytail! How does she know there was no hair in our food! She did not come and look. I showed the waitress it was clearly not my color or that of the waitress. It was light like white grey. Anyway my shrimp soup had six shrimp and all onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes, broth was good. We paid full price we had already eaten our food, I did not care about that, what bothered is the cook basically saying it...

I used to love this place until this last time the waitress was very condescending. We asked for a different kind of drinks amd she tolds us to wait in a rude manner. Also she replied with "if you guys are in a hurry you should've gone to Jack in the box". She must be a new waitress because the other times we have been there the waitresses were nice. I am not going back again. The worst part is I had taken a few friends and reccomended this place to them and to be treated that way was embarrassing.
