Came across this place by accident while traveling to California. The directions originally took us to the Casino which we quickly realized was wrong. Thankfully, we found the place. Place is small and cozy. Shortly after sitting down, we were greeted by the owner (Gabriella). She asked us what we ordered and then proceeded to bring us two different items that she insisted we tried (at no charge)! The food was incredible!! All of it was authentic, homemade and just amazing!! Homemade chips, tortillas, beans.. it was probably the best Mexican food we have ever had! Too bad they aren't in Scottsdale, AZ! We'll be stopping again on our way back through. Can't speak highly enough !!

Today, I had to take off my first review of this place because, frankly, it is no longer reflecting the quality of the food or service here. We had gone many times for their menudo, and that's what we ordered again, but it tasted like they had just added water to the caldo when we walked in and did not let it simmer enough. We also ordered café de olla... but we were never asked if we needed a refill. The chips, that made it worthwhile waiting a long time to be served, were old and soggy and they do not have the usual bean sauce. In as much I want to support the local businesses, especially with this extended pandemic, I am leaning towards not returning to this place.

Would rate better but the attended the waitress gives is little to none even tho they only have at most 8 tables to serve. The food has great taste. Although its way too expensive for what it is. Common $4 for a taco. They only have 3 different types of meet to choose from. Tables are the same that you would find in a picnic party those wood ones that you can get splinter from. Also the high chairs if you have a little one aren't safe at all I brought it to their attention that they aren't any safe my 18month old son was able to get him self out of it. They don't even have a strap to hold them down they should really try to update them.
