My boyfriend and I have been regular customers here going on four years. We come in every week, sometimes two times a week. Their food is good, but the front-of-house staff has been giving us a hard time these past couple of visits. We always order at least 8 to 10 tacos to go and always get chips on the side. As I said earlier, we have been going here regularly for almost four years with almost an unchanged order. So I know how many salsas we need for the food we order. The girls up front have started limiting the salsas we get to 6 salsas. They have started charging extra for little one oz salsas. I do not have a problem paying extra for salsas. What I do have a problem with is when I asked why they started charging people for extra salsas, they said that management had changed the policy because people just kept asking and asking and asking. Well, now they just lost two loyal regular customers and any future business they may get from us. We are regular customers. I am not asking for ten salsas; I am asking for one extra salsa for the chips I ordered. Not to mention before covid, they had a full-service salsa bar where people could get as many salsas as their hearts desired. As a chef who works in customer service, I believe regular customers should be accommodated, especially when they tip for their food, always come back, and bring in business by word of mouth. I hope you guys can save money by penny-pinching for salsa and chips. As for me I'm going to take my business elsewhere somewhere I'm actually appreciated for my loyalty and...
Read moreTaqueria Guerrero is a nice restaurant to sit and dine in. But my problem with the place is that the line to order you’re food is long most of the times I come in here. And that’s fine because that means they have good food. But the problem is the línea are always long and you have to wait a long time because there’s only one person behind the cash register taking your order. They’re two ordering computers but only use one. I don’t understand why because people then have to wait a long time. And the food takes a long time to cook. I came in at 11:30 am and got my food served at 12:05 pm on a slow day. The Chilaquilas were not as good as I thought they would be. I’ve come here before and had other types of food and they were good. This is the first time with the chilaquilas and I can tell you it’s a big disappointment. I will come back and do a new review and hope there is a change. The restaurant...
Read moreFood was good but the service was a joke. On Sat may 11th, at 2:45. Once we were ready to order we waited in front of the counter for about five minutes. We had been clearly noticed by one of the staff (she was standing 5 feet in front of us on the other side of the counter). We even made eye contact but she decided to carry on with her conversation. I called out to her to see if she would take our order but she ignored me (she looked at us for a second then kept on talking to the other girl in the kitchen), I called out a second time a bit louder, that time she headed up to us but still talking to her coworker. I don't really mind waiting to get service when the circumstances merit a awaiting time but this was just...
