Visited and ate here for the first time today and it was a very good experience. My first impression was that the place was very clean! After looking at the menu for each vendor I settled on a Fusion Poke Bowl from Von Asian Kitchen. Orders are placed at one of several kiosks situated throughout the Hall and unlike a typical food court, you can order items from multiple vendors all in one place and with a single payment.
When food is ready you receive a text notification. The food was delicious! Hot, fresh and very flavorful.
It was particularly busy today because it was the Grand Opening but service moved quickly and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. Oh, and if you just want water to drink, go to the bar and get a cup for free.
I was skeptical about this place while it was being built and thought it would take business away from the established local restaurants. Its a bit too new and shiny on the outside and doesn't fit the local beach vibe but that's really my only negative.
If you want a quick bite and not a full service restaurant this is a great option in downtown Cocoa Beach for your...
Read moreI call these kinds of businesses adult cafeterias because they offer many different cuisines in one convenient location.
Going during the middle of the week was nice due to their being low traffic but sometimes it is nice to have the energy/vibe of other eaters. Along those lines, the decor and theme (lack of theme, really) give a bit of a sterile feel. We've been to a few of the dining options standalone restaurants and they have good atmosphere but that's not necessarily the focus here.
Food wise, they've got many options covered from chicken tenders (not what you'd find at a drive-thru, these are enormous), burgers, italian, bbq, Mediterranean lite (gyros and flatbread but no kebab), asian, seafood, the sole alcoholic/drink centric spot, and a dessert shaved ice offering.
A good location for groups but if you know what you like cuisine wise I'd recommend going to that specific cuisine restaurant since the menu will be quite expanded compared to the understandably limited menus at...
Read moreWas excited to try. Food was great, hated the experience. I disregarded another person’s review about the virtual ordering but wow, I totally agree. It’s terrible.
First, it’s not intuitive…we’re going to gravitate towards the vendors we’re interested in and want to order from them! It’s how every other food hall works…When we were turned away to order on a screen after figuring out the right customization, it made no sense. We went to the ordering screens and the customized options that I had just talked about with the vendor didn’t even exist.
I know my boomer parents wouldn’t be able to handle this but us millennials and gen z don’t want this either. How about the option for both options? Or no QR code up charge….Was bummed we were several minutes into a convo with the vendor and then had to order elsewhere and couldn’t customize like we talked. It’s also just impersonal.
Won’t be back until...
