Hunkerdown Hideaway — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

Great little hole in the wall bar (southern slang)! My cousin and her husband (locals) took me out for an adult night, took my first Uber lol, while on vacation, and this place was awesome! I felt a little overdressed bc I was trying to get out of my comfort zone and wore a dress, haha. Would have been totally better had I worn shorts and a t-shirt! Decent prices but it is a local hotspot.. you will find tons of middle aged people there every single night. Older music, older crowd and it’s an older building that hasn’t changed much within the last decade. Overall, if you want cheap drinks close to the beach, GO TO HUNKER DOWN. Great bar/alleyway, mostly outside, mostly shaded. Right where Minuteman meets the beach (behind the much more touristy and overrated Coconuts). Live music often, ridiculously early and late hours, and a great spot to hang with locals and tourists alike.
