Tropic Ice Cream ( Port St John) — Restaurant in Cocoa

A very unassuming but very good ice cream joint...

From the outside, and even inside, it's really just small and unassuming, but what's offered makes it special. The ice cream they offer has to be the creamiest of any ice cream I have ever had. The flavors are all unique, some of them named quite funny, and so far I haven't found one I dislike.

On today's trip to the shop, I had my first ever version of their Blizzard, but with hard packed ice cream instead. What an experience - it was like eating a super thick, and I mean super thick shake - can't wait to try it again.

Service is always friendly, very efficient, and so patient with questions and even wiling to jaw a bit. A great little ice cream joint, and I'm sure our little hamlet will be showing it love...

The guy (DJ) was nice and patient, and had a good conversation with us. And the prices were good too (we all got different cones/sizes). Definitely less than what you'd pay at another place. Tropic Ice cream is the absolute best local ice cream shop. Located in Port Saint John right across the river. Grab a sweet treat and head over to the park, or enjoy sitting in their outdoor seating area. The ice cream flavors are regularly changing and always tasty! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. They make an effort to get to know their customers and truly have a hometown feel. We hope to see this family owned business stick around for many...
