Duffy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Coconut Creek

We’ve been coming here a few times and all the other times have had a decent experience. Service is fast, food is good, and the waiter has been friendly and attentive.

Our concern comes from this specific visit

My boyfriend ordered a burger and requested it well done, just as last time. But when he bites into it, it’s medium rare at best. No worries, we call the waiter back and ask if he can please get us another one because mistakes can happen.

After waiting some time, they bring back the same bitten burger that he just had. That was pretty weird to say the least. Why not make a fresh new one? Did they microwave the burger or put the bitten meat back on the grill, where they cook the other food? If that’s the case that is very unsanitary and disgusting.

We both thought it was pretty gross and overall weird that they took it back and brought back the same dish. Feeling a bit sus he cut into the burger and low and behold still bright pink. What was the point of taking it back?

After that we just asked for the check. Without us saying anything the waiter was kind enough to comp the burger. We made sure to leave a decent tip since he was friendly and did an overall good job. Our concern was just burger.

The worst experience we had ever,let's begin,as soon as we get in, the whole floor between 3 tables was dirty,but dirty. I told the host, and she said, "Don't know 😳,I said, how come the tables are clean and the floor in that condition??,she gave us the table next to that mass,I told my husband let's go,but he said let's change tables most probably then will clean it ..sure it's 😱,we spend between one hour and hour and a half,it was never clean..waitress were walking by including hostess and nothing was done..the manager if it was one there,we never saw it 👀..anyways we order are food I ordered the ribs with 🌽 and coleslaw salad 🤮,tasted horrible,I changed it for a bake potato.. I have to admit the ribs were good and my husband hamburger and the service our waiter gave us. His name is ARMANY Under than that pretty bad,just the way we saw the condition of the place to begin with The manager has to be more aware of the hostess and the whole place,the restaurant wasn't that full either !!! The 2 hostesses were in the front talking to each other.. Largely I enjoyed visiting and would return based on price, quality, parking & convenience.

The food was pretty good and not badly priced. A slight loss of stars only as the double smash burger with caramelized onions and pickle chips came as onion rings and no pickle except the spears on the side - good, but bland. The beef dip was also pretty good.

Drinks are really good value compared to other places nearby. The 2-for-1 runs all day, every day. Nothing spectacular as to presentation or taste, but largely acceptable. The grape ginger concoction is not so great, but is also cheap.

Service was average. Couple of confusions between bar and server, but overall not bad. Server was somewhat rushed and at the end of his night. Cutlery was forgotten. A round of drinks thay didn't arrive made it and a drink ordered wasn't right. It was corrected without hesitation and the extra drinks removed and brought with them comped on bill.

A touch under $100 for 2 people with a full meal each and a few rounds of drinks is way more reasonable than most places and makes Duffy's one that you can go to for a meet up, see a game and socialize without breaking the bank. Walking through looked...
