1 Star – Extremely Rude Drive-Thru Experience
I had a truly disappointing experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts on Coconut Creek Parkway. From the very beginning, the manager was unbelievably rude while taking our drive-thru order. We weren’t moving fast enough for her, and she spoke to us in a short, nasty tone, rushing us along like we were a burden.
When I pulled up to pay and asked the young girl at the window who took the order, she wouldn’t tell me—because it turned out it was the manager. When I asked the manager what the problem was, she sarcastically said, “What’s the problem?” I told her, you’re the problem—why the attitude? That’s when she got even more aggressive and snapped, “Because it took you 300 seconds to order. Normal people would have ordered faster!”
I admit, I could have been a little more understanding—but I’m a paying customer. All I wanted was my food, attitude-free. I asked for butter for my sandwich, and she told me they charge for that. Fine—I offered to pay, but then she told me I'd have to drive back around through the drive-thru just to get it. When I asked why she wouldn’t just give it to me and take the payment, she said, “Because you think you're going to get what you want. I'm not giving in to you!”
She called me disrespectful, refused to help, and said I wasn’t going to get what I wanted. I ended up sitting there until another employee brought the butter out. Meanwhile, five cars were stuck behind me. I even told her that her spitefulness was affecting others. Her response? “I don't care. It’s your fault!”
All I wanted was butter for my bacon, egg, and cheese bagel.
To the manager: I hope your day gets better. Whatever you're going through, please don’t take it out on others. Serve with compassion, be grateful for your job, and remember that everyone is going through something. It's important to set a healthy tone for the young adults working along side you. I certainly tried to be patient, and I’m sorry you were having a bad day and truly hope it gets better.—but this experience was unnecessary, undeserved and most certainly...

I was asked to back up behind the orange post this morning as though it is my job/responsibility to help this store look as though its drive-through time is faster than it is. I was not only asked once by the gentleman to which I politely ignored, but the young lady then came and asked me to back up behind the orange post. I replied with a simple "Why?" to which she said "The timer." I replied "I do not care about the timer." She replied "WELL I DO!"
I have been coming here since it opened and watched the management of this location rapidly decline, from the accuracy of orders, the quality of the food prepared, speed of getting through the drive through, friendliness of the staff, and now being commanded to take part in trying to cheat metrics used to determine if there needs to be some additional training for staff.
As a daily Dunkin customer, I have actively avoided this location for about a year now since I started noticing the decline, despite it being right outside my neighborhood. Discussions with my neighbors reaffirm this sentiment. "Yeah, I won't go there anymore either."
It feels like this is a prime candidate for a franchise to be returned to corporate and repaired. This incident was the last straw for me. Until I see a big sign that says "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT," our household won't be back.

Read moreI normally do not post negative reviews about places on Google maps, but I was too disappointed with my service at this Dunkin Donut location that I feel obligated to express myself here hoping this will bring some improvement.
I chose to order here because it’s the closest to my school and very convenient. But, I was beyond disappointed when I placed my order at the drive through without being told my total price ahead, then came to my surprise I was overcharged once I pulled to the second window to pay.
I politely asked the big dark skinned man who was serving me at the window why the price was higher than normal. He literally was screaming and overreacting in an unprofessional manner trying explain me why he unfairly charged me. As the situation was starting to make me uncomfortable, I simply said “ I just wanted to know why the price was higher “, and said “ok bye “ and drove away. When I opened my bag a few seconds later, came to find out that my sandwich was burnt and my latte had a weird taste because it was too concentrated and not stirred well enough.
Needless to say that, the price I spent there for the unpleasant meal could offer me a healthier option at a fancier place for a satisfying breakfast. Plus, it was not the first time they burn my food there. It surely they last time I visit this place, not only for the unprofessional staff and...
