CaddyShack — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

Such poor service. Worst in a long time. Ordered an appetizer, was never asked what size. Drinks were wrong and didnt come out for fifteen mintues. We were never given menus when we arrived so we had to ask another waitress for some. Our appetizer came out with one of our meals. After waiting for our other meal we noticed the tables who arrived after us all were taken care of and leaving. When I asked the server Charity what was going on with our order she stated the kitchen was really small amd they only dropped orders when they have room. In other words she didnt put our appetizer in initially when asked. I asked her for boxes and our tickets and my food to be boxed when it came up. She brought us boxes but it turns out she never even put my burger on the ticket. In addition my friend had to ask for her sauce she had ordered with the appetizer twice before it was brought. Had she taken any ownership or even apologized right off the bat it wouldve been a different story. Ive worked in the service industry my whole life and understand things happen and sometimes people make mistakes or even just have bad days but to look down your nose at a paying customer and act like youre the problem for asking whats going on is terrible customer service. I really do like the caddyshack and the food and I have had good service here before but unfortunately this experience put a bad taste in my mouth. Update: we've been here multiple times (at least 4), and today the service was awful. If it was our first time, we would have never returned. The food was great - husband has the club, I had a burger. Too bad it was SO SLOW I finished my entire 28oz looper (beer) before food ever arrived. Waitress didn't check back till we were close to leaving. Yeah, would have loved a second beer, but since it's been over TWO HOURS since we arrived (a little before 1 on a Monday) I just want to leave. Maybe understaffed, I don't know. Was immediately turned away after walking in the door with my family. Male worker came up and spoke loudly enough for people in the restaurant to look, "Sir, no guns in here. You have to put it in your car. Please put it in your car before you come back in." That was enough for us to turn around and leave without saying anything. Like I need to be told what I have to do. Especially when there is no sign out front that requests no guns. That would have been nice, instead of making it a scene. We felt very unwelcome. I was open carrying a small pistol. This is North Idaho, and this is America. I will be letting everyone I know about this anti-gun/liberty/freedom incident.
