I don’t even know where to begin or where to start, but here goes nothing.. So far I’ve had two experiences with this company and I haven’t looked back.
This place is amazing! I had never had an eye exam before, and decided that it was probably time to do so. The friendly and informative staff of EyeGuys helped me correct my minor vision issues, and fit me with some really great frames. The process was quick, thorough, and it’s obvious that these people know what they’re doing.
The store doesn’t just carry glasses/contacts for vision correction, but they also have a huge variety of Sunglasses too. A few months back in the summer I was in need of some new shades so on a limb I popped into the store just to see if i could find something - quad shot Americano in hand from Thomas Hammer.
The variety was outstanding. They had many well known brands such as Smith, Ray Bans, and Oakley’s etc.. Again, the helpful staff really assisted me on this one. I tried on multiple pairs of shades with one of the EyeGals, and she worked with me until I found the perfect pair. This staff will make sure your glasses actually fit your face and look good on you, and they won’t just sell you any old pair of glasses. This was huge for me and I loved that aspect of my experience. I ended up going with a pair of Shwood sunglasses and I’ve been so happy with them and have never looked so stylish. Now anytime I drive down Sherman Ave with the windows down in the Prius I get more recognition and respect because of my frames. Grandmas wave, the cowboy tips his hat, the barista winks, and then I smile right back and keep driving with one hand on the wheel.

Read moreI have been a patient at Eye Guys for many years. I always appreciate their service and kindness. They stay on top of the industry with technology advances and they are good at reminding, without overwhelming, of when it’s time to be seen again.
Dr. Breazeal is always professional and I appreciate that he is always learning and studying, so be able to provide the best possible care. He does a good job at walking the balance between medically advising of when something should be taken seriously and and when it’s something that isn’t concerning or can wait - and I really appreciate that he offers a wide variety of solutions, from state of the art to supplement support and more natural, but proven, alternatives.
And lastly, I LOVE my glasses. I am nearsighted. And I have very, very bad vision. This last time, I decided to stop trying to make readers work and I invested in silhouettes - with progressive lenses.
When I was trying to decide between the more affordable ones for my budget and the higher priced ones, the staff was helpful with information, but never tired to persuade me in one direction or another. I ended up buying the very best lens possible. I had tried progressives before from a discount retailer and had nothing but problems.
And I will just say, they are THE BEST lenses!!! I can read, and see in the distance and read on my computer and I don’t even notice them. No “hunting” trying to find the sweet spot for clarity. Read moreMy initial experience here was average at best while looking at frames and discussing my options. I scheduled an exam which was also average/uneventful. I then selected frames and my lens options and placed my order. This is where things started on a down hill slide. It took weeks to get my glasses done. I was desperately in need of glasses since my previous pair was damaged beyond use in an accident. I was paying atleast 75% out of pocket and asked if I could pay extra to get a rush, I was told they couldn't put a rush on them so I would just have to wait. Well I had no idea it would be nearly 2 months before they would come in. Honestly I chalked that up to just how things are when dealing with outside vendors. So to fast forward to present time atleast 6 months after paying for my glasses in full I recieve a bill for a small amount that they claim I owe them. For one I paid 100% of what they were charging me at the time the order was placed, secondly even if my insurance did cover a very small portion why would it take them 6 months to bill me for it? It didn't take long for them to threaten to turn it over to collections. Keep in mind I spent almost $700 on my glasses, had to wait through all of their delays the get threatened with collections for under $20 over 6 months after our transaction was finished.
