I have been coming to this location over 5 years. I love the jitterz brand overall, go to many locations and I have a lot of drinks I like there, prices are decent compared to other stands. I will say that I am a loyal customer, but there have been experiences lately that are turning me away. In the last 3 weeks I've had hair in my food twice, not 3 months or years- 3 weeks. That's insane and even though they tried to make it better, I just can't bring myself to eat there again knowing their prep area or practices are unsanitary. First time was like a dog hair in the burrito which I noticed before I ate, today was a blonde human hair that I chewed on and pulled out of my mouth. That was on the way to school and I did not have time to go back, nor did I want to eat anything after that. They did apologize and gave me a refund plus gift card which I appreciate. But there's a lot of inconsistencies here between wait times, service, and quality. It's hard to come here when I know 3 cars will be a 20 min wait sometimes and Starbucks is less than 5 mins. Sometimes the cup is all the way full of ice and very little liquid. It's just frustrating when I've been coming for so long to be let down like this. There's no excuse for hair in your food and something needs to be change with your practices. Maybe instead of looking cute they need to have a hair net when prepping food. No one deserves to chew on hair. I hope it gets better. And this parking lot at the prairie location is horrible if there's any type of line. Probably the...
Read moreI got a sugar free orange cream Italian soda and this is what it looked like. I complained and was told that it's "what happens when you use sugar free syrups and there's nothing wrong with it." I reached out to the company and they reiterated that statement. Interesting how this NEVER happens at any of the other coffee places I visit and order the exact same drink. They refused to make it right. Sorry Jitterz...that's not how you do business!
EDIT: Jitterz has replied to my review stating that they use half-and-half in their product, so that may be why the item looks so awful and curdled. I wanted to edit my review and include a photo I took when I got home after getting that horrible drink from Jitterz when I added my OWN half-and-half to the drink. Interesting how when I added my own half-and-half to the same drink (see earlier photo) it smoothed out the curdling and made it more appealing. Same drink (which you can see from the weird curdling on top of the cup), but this was taken after I got home and was trying to make it taste better and be more appealing. Also, note that it did not make it curdle more, but actually less! Their product is clearly bad and they're not admitting their mistake or trying to...
Read moreI ordered a 20 oz iced white peppermint mocha. I watched the entire thing made. The syrup in enormous jiggers full along with the double espresso filled the cup half full. Then ice took it the rest of the way 95% full... After I'd specifically asked for whole milk, I watched the gal sub out half the dairy with 1%..... That last 5% of the drink was the dairy portion. And it was a mixture of 1% and whole milk. That's not a lot of milk for a latte. And It tasted like sugar water....It was a $6 drink that I couldn't even drink. It was really bad, you guys. It's so disappointing too. Because I really want to support local businesses. But that drink was really cutting corners in every aspect. Really hope this criticism maybe just causes a little reevaluation in the drink...
