My girlfriend and I stopped at the food truck lot in CDA while out running errands. The pictures looked fire—double smashburger, fries, drink. Easy win, right?

Wrong.

I ordered the double with lettuce and tomato. What I got was… wet-wet. Like, I just kissed it all over the back of its neck. I don’t know if they grilled the lettuce or put the whole thing in the dishwasher to keep it warm, but biting into it felt like my burger was retaining water.

I asked if they had fry sauce. The guy in the back (who I guess was the chef) hyped it up like it was the stuff of legends. Said people “go crazy for it.” Maybe they do… right before they crash their car trying to spit it out. Tasted like mustard, Dollar Tree mayo, and regrets. You could see the seasoning—but somehow not taste it.

No ketchup or mayo on the burger either. I went to grab some at the front—turns out they charge 50 cents each. That’s $1 for two basic condiments I feel like I already emotionally paid for.

Always amazing food, local meat supplier so it's always fresh. I eat here waaaaaay more than I shoul, but my family and I have never had a bad experience here. Servings are generous and delicious. Favorite personally is the cowboy, I'm a sucker for bbq bacon burgers and this one takes the cake AND ALWAYS hits the spot!!
