Enjoyed this gem of a Mexican restaurant. The lively decorations and colorful decor are as authentic as the food. Vast Street Taco Menu They list the following for tacos: Steak Carne Asada Carnitas (Deep Fried Pork) Pork Maw/Buche Campechanos (Chorizo and Steak) Seasoned Style/Adobada Chorizo (Mexican Style Sausage) Chicken/Pollo Little Mulitas (Beef with Oaxaca Cheese) Tongue/Lengua/Barbacoa/Cachete
We all tried the different atreet tacos. The tongue was very tender and tastes like steak. The Campechanos was good but was an equal amount of steak and Chorizo and maybe prefer less Chorizo to balance the saltiness.
Love the complimentary salsa, lots of flavor and not too spicy. Same with the green salsa on a big squeeze bottle at the table It's a little hotter and if you want to not taste anything they have a bottle of red that will make most people sweat. Serve alcohol and have...
Read moreEl Taco Loco is our favorite place to eat in Coldwater. Excellent food in a charming, small restaurant with attentive service! The pork and chicken tamales along with the steak tacos are my favorites. We usually order these instead of a meal. Their lunch specials offer the best pricing if you’d like rice and beans too.

A fair amount of meat in the fajitas and nachos. -meals had a lot of flavor, but the Carne asada was very tough. I'm guessing it's the cooking method because the fajita steak was tender. Great flavor though. -very nice server -Coke products! And big glasses. They seemed to have some good bottle beers and other non-soda drinks as well but we didn't try those. -One of the few places I've found tongue and nopalitos!
Cons from our experience: -Food seemed to take a log time for having only two other small tables at the same time as us. -Not really spaceous for larger parties. -There was a musty, mildew smell like a basemt. Which is a shame because the...
