Lamplighter Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Coldwater

Visiting Coldwater, we didn’t feel like fast food, but also didn’t want to break the bank. We discovered this place and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is typical of a local bar in terms of setup and decor. There was only one server/bartender, as it was a slow Wednesday night, but she was great and kept up with everyone's orders, and was very friendly. The food was downright amazing! I had the 1/3 pound burger, added American cheese, and bacon. The bacon was crispy, but not burnt! The burger was cooked perfectly, with a very slight pink hue yet incredibly flavorful and juicy. However, the bun was not soggy with burger grease, unlike what often happens. The fries were excellent too! My mom had the chicken tenders, which I believe are made to order, featuring excellent-sized chicken strips that were lightly breaded, flavorful, and also very juicy! Food is inconsistent one one week it's good and the next it is it is isn't. My last visit there with a group of friends, food came out at different times period one order of wings was wrong and not even hot. My wings were okay, but not as good as the week before. My order of mushrooms were overcooked and very greasy and did not even eat them. I asked the waitress to take them off my bill, she came back to me a few minutes later and said the manager was not willing to take them off my bill. Excellent smoked brisket sandwhich with sweet potatoes tots and brown butter dipping sauce. And they have gluten free pizza and gluten free buns. It was clean and relaxed. The waitress was excellent .it was slow getting waited on since they only had one waitress . when it was our turn she was attentive to drink refills and friendly.
