Broadway Grille — Restaurant in Coldwater

Hit or kinda miss - either the service and food are a hit or it falls a little flat, but never “bad”.

The menu is about what you’d expect from a bar/restaurant in terms of selection. The quality of food is great, large portions (always have leftovers) and the salad bar is what generally makes me pick this place over others. The grinders and pizza are delicious, I haven’t had a good/properly cooked steak yet, and the jalapeño cream cheese added to menu items is fantastic.

Average prices. Cocktails are small. Nice array of lunch and dinner specials- I really enjoy the 1/2 sandwich and salad bar lunch specials. Had the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

The atmosphere is nice and airy, clean, updated, lit appropriately and the space was utilized in an interesting way. Family friendly. Clean restrooms. The decor is very tasteful and has a classy feel that almost seems out of place (in a positive way) in comparison to some similar local places. The brick wall is a nice, warm accent that really ties it all together.

Good parking options with a front and rear entrance. Definitely a nicer place to take a date.

Ask for Lenae, she’s a fantastic waitress.

Please bring back the Sunday brunch bar!

I’ve only had a few not great experiences out of a couple dozen. One, over cooked steak, but that was comped. I went in for lunch once and had a very burly/mouthy waitress yelling questions about my drink from the bar area across the restaurant. Very unprofessional, but I haven’t seen her since. Third, went on taco Tuesday and had THE WORST TACOS EVER. Never made that mistake again!

Came here for a birthday late lunch (Saturday, 2:30-ish) with my father and step-mom. Was the first time for all of us, I chose it after looking up various online reviews of places in town.

We were seated promptly, and our server was with us in a flash. She delivered dad's bottle of beer and my margarita to us quickly, and let us know she was brewing a fresh pot of coffee for my step-mom. After she delivered the first cup of that (which was good, my step-mom said), she patiently waited for us to finish making up our minds on what food to order.

The menu is very diverse, so making up our minds was not as easy as it sounds. In the end I sent with the fish (haddock) jumbo shrimp and chips combo basket (they even had malt vinegar, to my delighted surprise). It came out beautifully fried and was quite good, and in great enough quantity I had a bit to take home. My father was pleased with his special of the day, the wet beef burrito, and he took home half of that. My step-mom had the house melt, not 100% sure what was on it but she enjoyed it, and she too took home half of hers too.

I winced a bit at the price as I was perusing the menu, but the serving sizes more than made up for that. Bring a good appetite, you'll need it. I hope to get back soon to try some of the other things on the menu, and the Five Star Pizza looked...

i went to broadway grill to enjoy a nice evening with my family and i ordered the “Nicole broccoli alfredo” took one bite and found a piece of paper in my food so i asked the waitress if i could take it off my bill and she politely said she would talk to her manager”which she did” and so we waited about 15 mins and when we saw the waitress again she looked shocked and asked if she had came over bc the manager told her “the person that made the complaint was in the bathroom” which me and my family found strange because my family had not used the restroom at the restaurant at all. also the manager had not been out in the dining area at all since we complained. we asked if she could please ask her again and she said of course. we then watched the waitress tell her again and the manager said “well that’s not my problem”. once she came over to our table she said blamed the waitress saying she didn’t tell her and that it was and i quote “a bad kitchen day” over all the food was mediocre for the price and i didn’t even get to eat my dinner bc of the paper.the waitress was very professional and sweet and she did an amazing job handling...
