Social Lounge — Restaurant in College Station

I purchased a "Free cover on Friday and Saturday" coupon on pocket points. When I went to the bouncer he told me that they would not honor it. He gave me $5 off cover instead. Meaning that instead of cover being $20 it was $15. Normally I would've just said screw it and left but I was with other people who wanted to go in. Once inside, the place smelled like vomit. Not a place I ever plan to visit again. If you aren't going to honor the coupon take it off of Pocket Points.

I honestly feel that this is somewhat similar to a bait and switch situation except that the product being offered is the same. I was lured in with a coupon. When I arrived at the establishment I was told "Hey we can't honor that but if you wanna spend a little more money..." Regardless of terminology this is a shady and unethical business practice. If this is how they choose to conduct business, I would advise others to avoid this place.

Here is what a bait and switch is for those who don't know: 'advertise a product at a low price to draw consumers in- the "bait"- and then, once the consumers come into an establishment looking for that specific advertised product, claim that it is not available or do not even attempt to sell it at all, and instead, suggest another more expensive and "better" product-...

Well when I come to social lounge the bartenders and the managers are awesome and bouncers are the greatest security guards which I acknowledge all of them. But the huge factor problem is alot of the other people such as the customers that come out which I mean the guys that come are very inappropriate with female customers. All the customers that go to social lounge on regular basis cause so many crimes around the Northgate Areas of bars. These people that go to Northgate on regular days are all criminals and are idiots that have no respect for Police Officers and no respect for our American Flag and these Northgate people are so disrespectful toward Veterans. Overall these people need to be taught a lesson and go to jail for their evil actions. Our Police Officers are awesome. God...

This night lounge is always overcrowded on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, except on the holidays. The lounge has a nasty smell, especially when it is overpopulated. The price for drinks is moderate (i.e., five dollars will get you a bottle of beer). The space is small, and it does not have many seats inside. They enforce dress code rules, and the bouncers use this as a loophole to screen people. The bartenders are calm, social, and friendly. if you ever plan to visit this place, remember to tip and be friendly with the bartenders and bouncers. 👍🏾. Their DJ music selections are catchy and trendy (7/10). I would suggest you try out the Backyard. The only good thing about this lounge is that it’s one of the most diverse clubs in college...
