Great food but employees need training in customer service! We arrived on a Sunday night and an older lady was sweeping. I asked her if they were closing and she looked at the clock and said “Yes—-in 40 minutes”! It was 8:10 p.m. and they closed at 9:00!! How about saying “No, we don’t close until 9:00”. Obviously she is hourly and doesn’t care if the restaurant makes more money. She had already turned all of the trash cans except one upside down. She had the place ready to lock up. A family was there eating and about 5-6 more people came in while we were there. The guy and gal working the front area were nice enough but not very enthusiastic about being there. Sad, because the food was SO good! I got the regular sized burrito and it was huge! Meat was fresh and tasty and so were the toppings. My son’s big burrito was huge! The salsa and chips were also great! Loved the food but the service leaves much to be desired. Ownership needs to know that this makes people not want to come back especially...
Read moreWas eating here and just watched some poor customers get berated for not wearing masks by workers who were wearing their masks below their nose and continuously touching their masks and faces. It's one thing to obey store policy, but it's another thing to be extremely rude to customers while being completely unsanitary and not even wearing their own masks properly. One guy even grabbed a scoop handle after having touched his mask to rearrange it on his face. I'm sorry I ate here and will not be spending money here again if this sort of behavior and rampant face-touching is considered to be acceptable amongst...
Read moreThis place has become another example of the corporate browning of an original business. A once tribute to generations of Aggieland Spirit and Festivity amongst alumni, now looks like all the other Freebirds stores. Where thousands of signatures once plagued the walls and The Hog, only a shell of it's former self remains. However, the taste of the food remains more or less the same. Always filling and satisfying. I'm grateful to have been a part of the history at this Freebirds #001!! I'll always keep coming back for the food and the...
