Rebel Draft House — Restaurant in College Station

For a bar that's always packed, I'm surprised it has so few google/yelp/etc reviews. This place is underrated, I think. It has very high ceilings and an open floor plan, not giving you the claustrophobic feel of many other bars. There is a massive patio which wraps around the majority of the outside of the bar. The bartenders are incredibly friendly. After placing an order they thank you, give their name and tell you to let them know if you need anything else, and then shake your hand. Who else does this?! So cool. It's very warm and personal, and something no other bar in town does (that i'm aware of, and I go to A LOT of bars). For this type of bar, they also have a large selection of beers on tap, only second to Obannon's in N.Gate. Used to be our favorite place to go because of drink specials but now you can't bring in a backpack @ 6 pm when the place is empty (what if you want a quick drink after school...which is right across the street...?) and they wouldn't accept my boyfriend's passport. Apparently, their manager is against it. What about international students (which A&M has a ton of!)? Seems pretty discriminatory to me. The bar used to be a great place with great drink specials but I think they up-ed their prices to make up for their good deals. Definitely not on our favorites...

I went on March 16th,2022 Wednesday in to find out about the reason why there is huge white tent in front of O'Bannon Bar but I get a rude answer from a Random Lady that happens to manage Rebel House Bar. All Bar managers at Rebel learn to use yall respectful manners. Yall are needing to realize that next time yall are rude to me or any customers we have every right to close your Bar down with the help from Law Enforcement.
