Gambier Deli — Restaurant in College Township

Today was my first day ever in Gambier. Sadly my family & I were passing through the college to lay my grandmother to rest in the nearby cemetery. After a long drive of 4+hrs we naturally were hungry. I saw the deli and stopped to get my mother & I food. Let me tell you I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food AMAZING all the people I encountered were very friendly too. I really enjoyed the food and felt it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! We both absolutely loved the delis food.. Not only would I go there everyday if I had the opportunity but, I would give it a 5+ star rating but, I recommend everyone to go and try out their amazing food! The salad was fresh with a nice blend of ingredients (not boring). Your service was prompt and top-notch. Even talking with you several weeks in advance over the phone was a very pleasant experience where you helped me select items and quantities that would be appropriate. We were very hopeful. Went for breakfast. The menu says eggs any way you want them, but the woman at the counter said they only come fried. The counter woman was very unfriendly.

We saw nothing on other people's plates we wanted to eat. Everything looked boring and bland.

We left and drove to Mt. Vernon.
