NO.1 NEW CHINA — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

Hi 👋 we picked this place because it had 4/5 stars. Upon reading the reviews it seems everyone has something negative to say about their food. We just had a bad experience ourselves and we won’t be going back. My husband thought his dragon was Phoenix was way too saucy. My crab Rangoons were flavorless and rubbery like they had been sitting out a while. My hot and sour soup tasted oddly like Mexican and not Chinese. My dumplings and my husbands wanton were the only things we thought were ok. For $45 in today’s economy we’re really disappointed. I go here all the time didn’t have a problem before. I ordered the spare ribs but they were super tough I called the store and spoke to Alisa about she kept brushing me off. Why? Im a paying and loyal customer! You never asked if I want a do over or the reason nothing! Look at my number, husband number and son number you will see I spend a lot of money at the restaurant, because our my family schedules are busy!!!! Not once did she ask the simple question “what was wrong with them” I would have answered they were extremely tough and not tasteful. This why I asked if you all had a new cook!! Certain negative reviews of this establishment are interesting, to say the least 🧐. Been going here for about 2-years now. Large orders have always been correct, food is always fresh, and most importantly the employees are always polite and professional. Honestly, best Chinese restaurant in the local area, especially considering pricing. Keep doing great things for the community.
