DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT GO TO LOWES THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY MONEY FOR THE STORES OWN MISTAKE. Save you the time and trouble. From the beginning Home Depot in colonial heights promised a home delivery of washer and dryer sept 7th that it’s in stock after me personally asking to confirm because the deliveries are famous for rescheduling. I was assured materials were in stock and there won’t be an issue. Long behold the day before called and said they never had it in stock and it’s back ordered until the 23rd. I call the day before to confirm that they will be there and They arrive the 23rd and they would be hauling away the washer and dryer all confirmed from the representative I spoke to he said it’s added to the notes and will happen. Delivery day they show up and say there is nothing about hauling away the old appliances and they don’t have room for it anyway. Now having to call back again they see the notes and said no one told them so now I have a washer and dryer in my front yard until another day they can come by. Then to find out the wrong color for dryer was delivered so having to call and try and get a replacement sent over I was instructed in order to do so I would need to PURCHASE a new one. Fronting 900$ for a mistake that they openly said was the stores fault. They will not honor a replacement until I purchased the correct color so in order to have this corrected Home Depot made the customer purchase the correction. Absolutely ridiculous do not order anything from Home Depot they do not care to help customers or accommodate the stores own mistakes. Lowe’s has better deals and customer satisfaction. I am stuck with paying another 900$ and won’t receive a refund until 12...
Read moreI ordered almost $2000 worth for product for a fencing job on 04/28/21 to be delivered on 05/08. Shorter delivery time than I expected so that's cool. They deliver my order, with confirmation emails and receipts in my mailbox. When I arrive home, they only delivered half of the order! Receipt says two pallets and they clearly only dropped off one. This is for a fencing project and they didn't deliver the fence panels...the main part of the project. Called the store and they said they will refund my delivery charge and deliver the product on 05/12. Still waiting for that refund. They deliver the panels on 05/12 but they brought the WRONG FENCE!!!! I call back again. They said they will pick up the wrong fence and deliver the correct one on 05/17. It's 05/16 today and I receive a call saying that the order that I had paid for was wrong and that I owe more because it's a special order that is not available in stores. THE DISPLAY IS OUTSIDE THE STORE. I ORDERED FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE! They say the fence cost $73 when the display says $63 (I will attach a photo if I can). The employee told me that the $63 is when you order more than 3 panels....I'm ordering 25! The manager will not honor what I've paid and insist that I have to pay the difference to get the correct fence. I have not had a fence for 3-4 weeks now. Read moreGregg Adams community, unfortunately Home Depot uses a third party contractor for delivery of appliances. After two failed deliveries and failed communication from the delivery agency for a washer and dryer purchase from this store we canceled our order. The sales associate clearly documented our address as on a military installation and requirements for the crew to enter post. It was apparent the courteous staff to include managers at the store shared our frustration as they were limited to the same 1-800 number provided to me with over a 30 minute hold time to coordinate delivery. The delivery support team from the 1-800 number’s recourse was to refer us back to Home Depot store staff who could not resolve the situation.
When asked if the delivery crew could deliver to Home Depot so I could pick up in store we were told it was not possible. To sum this, up my family was with out a washer and dryer for 6 days as we uninstalled our old system to accommodate delivery requirements, we spent 8 hours waiting on a delivery crew that never showed up due to 4 hour window delivery times and spent 3 hours trying to arrange delivery for items we ended up canceling due to lack of confidence in the stores capability to deliver the items to our residence that we purchased.
