I tried this new place out today. Everybody loves mac & cheese, right? I got the Chicken Parm Bowl. I then watched them assemble my 'meal' from bins in a cold prep table, just like at Subway. The 'food' looked like garbage processed foods scooped out of a 5 gallon Sysco bucket. Then they put it into a conveyor toaster oven. It was very slow [the whole restaurant has only one conveyor toaster] which gave me lots of time to build up dread over how this was going to be. Yes, you guessed it... It tasted like a frozen microwave dinner. The sad thing is there is nothing to improve on. It isn't as if someone did something wrong, or made a mistake. They seemed to do everything right. You just can't make a good lunch when starting with garbage ingredients on an assembly line, and throwing it into a microwave/toaster thing. And it was bland. And it was expensive. If you have fond memories of growing up with tv dinners, this is the place for you. Otherwise, If you want a good pasta bowl, go to Bambino's downtown. At least they cook it fresh.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Comfort Food Dream Come True! We visited this mac and cheese restaurant and were seriously impressed! If you’re a fan of comfort food with a twist, this place delivers. We tried the Chicken Parmesan Bowl and the Mac and Cheese with Short Rib — both were absolutely delicious. The chicken parm had that perfect crispy coating, tender inside, and was topped with just the right amount of marinara and melted cheese, all sitting on a bed of creamy, rich mac and cheese. It was the perfect blend of classic Italian and soul-warming comfort. The short rib mac and cheese was next-level. The short rib was incredibly tender and flavorful, falling apart with each bite. Combined with the gooey cheese sauce and perfectly cooked pasta, it was a savory, indulgent dish we didn’t want to end. Portions were generous, the atmosphere was casual and fun, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavors — it’s a mac and cheese lover’s paradise!

As someone who tries a lot of restaurants, I did not find this place impressive at all. The short rib philly meat tasted weird an unauthentic. The lobster mac was a lot better in comparison, but there is something about the food that has a very prepackaged taste to it. It's hard to explain, but if you eat out at enough of a variety of restaurants you can start to pick out which foods are made from scratch versus which are prepackaged and loaded with preservatives. Noodles & Company is about 5 minutes away and has better mac and cheese. Also, if you consider yourself a true fan of mac and cheese, check out Mactory in downtown Colorado Springs or Mac Nation in Indian Hills (southwest of Denver).

This was our first visit & will definitely be our last. To say that we were less than impressed would be an understatement. My husband & I both got build your own bowls. The person who was helping us was very helpful. However, our visit went south when we had to pay. There were issues with the computer & it took some time to be resolved. In the mean time both of our bowls had been run through the oven & then left on the counter to get cold, while payment was being taken care of. When we finally got our order, both mac bowls were lukewarm at best. This is when we noticed the severe lack of cheese for mac & cheese bowls. The cheesecake bites were ok, especially for being pre-made. The strawberry sauce was strawberry syrup. We had to wait for my husband's tater tots & I eventually had to go ask for them. They were the only part of our hot food that was actually hot. He got 9 tots for $3.49. One of the other workers came out a little while later with his regular sized order, but didn't know what to do when my husband said that he had already gotten some. Instead of going ahead & leaving them with my husband, since she brought them to the table already, she walked away & gave them to a family at a nearby table. No one seems to be able 5o make sure food stays hot & gets delivered to the right customer, as well as not being able to make sure customers get their full orders in a timely manner!! We spent almost $45 for lackluster food & severe lack of attention to detail...

My family and I were excited to try this place. And we were severely disappointed. Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Confusing ordering process for first visit. (it looks like a subway or chipotle, but you order everything up front) Food wasn't that good.... seriously, it was better than the cheap stuff you get at home. But nothing to write home about. Long wait time... Expensive. Extremely small portions. I mean it's a general amount. But it's Mac and cheese. Not steak. For 13 bucks I should be stuffed. Not still hungry. No ketchup

Here was the food we had ... Classic Mac and cheese with pepper jack cheese. 3 out of 5 stars. This was actually better than I hoped for. Classic Mac and cheese with white cheddar cheese. 2 out of 5 stars. It was really bland. Grilled cheese with yellow and white cheddar as well as Mac and cheese. 3 out of 5 stars. This was a bit weird. Almost good. Tater tots. 1 out of 5 stars. Zero salt. Super bland. No ketchup?!?!? Mac and cheese bites. 2 out of 5 stars. (Didn't have great sauce paired with it) Cheese cake bites with caramel sauce. 4 out of 5 stars. (Was too sweet)

Seriously get ketchup. You have tater tots.

And it's good to go low sodium, but zero sodium was so boring.

EDIT: the said they have ketchup. Well to be fair to my review, we asked the person delivering food and he said "I don't think we have that" and...

Mac & cheese is my favorite food to this day when it's done right. When I heard about this place opening on a radio ad, I thought I need to make a trip to that part of town to try it out. I finally had a chance this past Thursday and had a BOGO coupon, so I figured I try it and have leftovers. Sadly, they don't do mac & cheese right, so I definitely won't make a trip to go back.

I ordered the classic mac & cheese and a build your own. I can overlook that they aren't using actual macaroni noodles, but the "cheddar" cheese sauce tasted like a really cheap canned version and bland. This was particularly noticeable on the classic mac since there were no other flavors. I guess I should have asked if I could have a sample first. The build your own mac bowl was slightly better just because the flavor of the veggies was there, but it definitely still lacked a cheesiness taste. The amount of sauce on both was fine, just rather tasteless.

Customer service was fantastic! Since I went about 4pm, they were still very much open, and the staff were friendly and helpful with explaining the items. When I asked if the meatballs have pork, one of them even called whoever orders the inventory to find out for me. If it were about service, my experience was good, but it's more about food, which was...
