Taste of Philly — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

So disappointing to want to support a local community restaurant and they did not live up to what a Taste of Philly is. Arrived before closing, 730pm. Ordered 5 sandwiches. Three steaks, one grilled with cheese with ham and one BLT. The two grilled cheese’s soggy and lacked flavor. The three Phillys had zero meat at each of the ends of the sandwiches. The portion of meat was also lacking. To compare, We order frequently from Taste of Philly 2750 S Academy Blvd. and they really pack their sandwiches and fill them up from end to end. And they’re super tasty. It’s so unfortunate to pay $80 for five sandwiches and take them home and then bite into it and feel and taste the disappointment. Additionally, no cup carriers. Oh, and had to remind that they owed me two more steak sandwiches when they gave me...

Nice place, clean inside and out. Went in for dinner, I had The Works, 12 inch (it was huge, could have definitely gone 9 inch). It was delicious! Loaded with steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Wifey had the Original, 9 inch, which also was delicious. The bread was fresh, and had just the right texture, firm on the outside but still soft and fresh on the inside, you could tell the ingredients were fresh as well. I’m impressed. This is as close as I’ve had in a Philly cheesesteak since I was actually in Philly and tried both Pat’s and Geno’s, who both claim to be the original. Do yourself a favor and stop by, for a real “taste of Philly” if you’re looking for...

This place is fantastic in every way. I ordered my online order to the wrong store on accident and they were gracious enough to call the other store cancel it and make it over here. Talk about customer service! To top it off the place is always extremely clean and tidy. Taste of Philly has always been a family staple for many years when we first had it in Denver in their tiny hole in the wall location off colorado Blvd. Happy to see the business growing over here in the springs.
