I called an order for pick up. The gal who answered was hard to understand because of her accent. When I came in to pick up my order I had not realized that she did not give me a soda cup until I got home. (which cost $3.78, which is crazy expensive) So I called Zapata on Rockrimmon and got the same gal I couldn't understand. Ugh! :/ Explained to her that I did not get my soda cup when picking up my order. can I get a refund for the soda I ordered & did not get? As I was trying to figure out if she even understood the conversation. She hung up on me. I'm totally confused at this point & didnt even know if she was refunding me or not. So I called back. Explained who I was again & my situation. She seemed she did not know how to refund or help me. So I asked her if there was someone there that could help her. She told me to hold on & she just put the phone down and I held for 10 minutes and she never came back...I could hear her taking orders of other customers & other nonsense. I hung up and I tried calling back again & it wouldn't go through since the phone on her end was not hung up. Someone called back but I missed the call so I called back AGAIN!! Spoke to the same gal who hung up on me & had me hold for 10 minutes. I asked for manager and she said there was no manager. I'm thinking what kind of place is this that doesn't have a manager during dinner hours!! UGH! She said I could come back and she would give me cash. I had told her sevearl times that I cannot come back because I don't live close by. If I could've come back I wouldve just gotten my soda and not called asking for a refund. I told her that the way she handled this situation was unacceptable & poor customer service. I will not return for future business to any of their locations & I would write a review of how this establishment handles their customers when things dont go according to plan. DONT have people answering the phone that can't speak clearly. Have a manager during lunch & dinner hours in case situations come up that staff can't handle & train your staff to know the basics of how to work the front of house. I never got my soda or my money back and now my food is cold!!! At this point its the...
Read moreI've missed Mexican food since Arizona, but not anymore, this is real real Mexican or at least what Arizona people think is real Mexican. These are street tacos just like in Rocky point. The steak was so tender. The beans on the steak were so flavorful, the refried beans had so much flavor. Loved the cheese on top. I just threw a dollop of salsa and it was delicious. These are not out of a can. Have all that authentic flavor of your Nana making em. The chicken was so tender, flavorful, and moist. I didn't put anything on these tacos I just ate them straight out of the box. That's how good they were. Just a little cilantro and onion is all they need. The chips have a wonderful lime kick to em with just the right saltiness. This is the kind of Mexican food when you're drunk at 2:00 in the morning that you want to just eat boxes of. I've sampled literally every Taco stand in Rocky point. Probably been to every filibertos in Arizona. this is the closest to authentic Mexican food that I've seen since moving here. Everyone in the house raved the kids loved it Mom loved it. so glad we found a Mexican place to order from. We haven't eaten it much since living here. That's going to change. I think we're getting it again this week. Definitely interested in seeing their other offerings. their tacos are done well but I want to know do they make a carne asada burrito like I'm used...
Read moreThis place has turned into such a disappointment. I don't know if I've just been getting real unlucky, but I started going here around 3-4 years ago and it was fire; one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Regardless of what I got, the food was always on point. I started telling all of my coworkers and friends to try it. Then, they started opening up more locations: first on Dublin and then near Northgate.
I started going to the one on Dublin because it's closer to where I used to live and noticed that it wasn't as good as the original Delmonico location. After a year or so I told myself I would only go to the Delmonico location because it was the best.
I started going back there and noticed it wasn't the same. I went back to the Delmonico location probably 4 or 5 more times to give it a fair shot during different times of the day and each time it was disappointing. The final time, I went there about half an hour after opening and I was served disgusting meats that tasted like they were warmed up from the previous day. The carnitas I had was in huge chunks, like the cook was so lazy they couldn't be bothered to rip it apart. The guacamole also had a weird taste to it. The quesabirria taco was the only decent thing, although the meat was...
