Hands down the BEST Mexican Food in Steamboat. Even one of the best restaurants. We have a couple good Mexican options in town but Cinco De Mayo is by far my favorite. It's authentic, tasty food, and Jose is the nicest / offers the best service. He is always working really hard to give every customer a really nice experience. The margaritas are amazing and not made with a mix. Also love the steak burrito, plantain, gorditas, and the enchiladas. Such a great, relaxed atmosphere with easy parking and amazing food. p.s. we needed to order 40 burritos and 60 tacos for an event recently, and Jose was so helpful in making this happen and made the whole process easy and seamless. If I could give this place 10 stars I would I’ve passed by here many times over the years and today I finally stopped in for a steak burrito and it was amazing when I walked in I was greeted I really wanted potato’s in my burrito ( which usually is done in the morning for breakfast burritos ) but the guy made it happen for me! Not only was the place beautiful the burrito was amazing everything was juicy the veggies were seasoned perfectly and the mild sauce was freaking amazing I’m not good with spicy but it had the right amount of kick to it! This will be a place I return to for sure thank you sir for making my experience...

We stumbled into this restaurant because we were at a nearby thrift store - and what a great experience! Our waiter was probably the owner or his son as he recommended great dishes for us - an enchilada dish made from his great grandmother 5 generations ago - never tasted anything like it & it was delicious; semi-crispy taco entree, the pork belly jerk appetizer and a Asian pork belly street taco. The beans and salsas he offered us were delicious and different also. We ordered too much - took home part of the enchiladas and one of the tacos for later!
