Decent food. Seems to be very inconsistent. The burrito I received today was full of mushy rice, and pastor that needs more marinading and cooking time. Overall, a decent lunch, but not great. The tacos that I’ve had in the past are good. Pasadita or cinco may be better options?

Excellent Tacos, especially for the price! I highly recommend the Al Pastor taco with the green salsa. Loco Taco is definitely my favorite taco place in town! Update 5/27/22: The Loco Burrito with the new pineapple salsa is amazing!!!

This place has some of the best burritos. The sauce/salsa is so delicious! We bring our dog Jazzy and eat outside. Sometimes she gets a bit, she likes it too. When I'm heading to Ace and hungry, this is my favorite!

This place has some of the best burritos. The sauce/salsa is so delicious! We bring our dog Jazzy and eat outside. Sometimes she gets a bit, she likes it too. When I'm heading to Ace and hungry, this is my favorite!

I lived in Cali and Denver for years, most of the tacos places are disappointing in steamboat. The tacos here are the best, the Torta is on point too.

One thing I’ve learned is don’t go to a taco joint and order a burrito. Or a sushi place and get teriyaki, etc. this place is called loco taco… get the tacos.

Also don’t go to a applebees and order the vegan fish. Get asada, carnitas, pastor, or pollo…. Some of these reviews, sorry your frozen fish Asian burrito wasn’t fresh, or authentic Mexican enough, try...

I stopped by after seeing an article about this place opening recently and hearing the owner grew up in Mexico and seeing all the 5 star reviews. Veggie taco was good, but the fish and chicken tacos were very bland, and the fish was NOT cooked to order. The food was very affordable for Steamboat. Maybe the underwhelming lunch was due to mud season and a lack of oversight by management, but I don’t know. Hopefully as the summer season picks up management can make some positive changes...

The rice in the burritos is crunchy and dry. Buy a rice cooker for $35 at Walmart.

Also charging extra for those little cups of sauce is ridiculous. If I eat there I get all the sauce I want, if I take it to go I get charged $ .25 for 2 drops in a cup. What a rip-off.
