We decided to stop in on our fall color drive. Walk in all tables are empty but 3. All tables are dirty that are empty. 3 young girls are behind counter not busy at all. We sit order drinks quickly, order food shortly after. One of the other girls not our waitress started setting the empty tables up with napkins and silverware without cleaning them first, ughhhh no way! I go to use the restroom and ask her quietly why don't you wipe the table first she said oh I'm fixing to🤔. We got our food in a decent time, it was mediocre. My order wasn't complete so I was waiting for our waitress to come back and waited and waited....I ended up going to the counter to ask for butter for a baked potato and my dinner roll they were all three at the counter doing nothing. The only table ever checked on by 2 of the three girls was one with local fire Dept employees, I agree they are special, so are your other customers. When we got up to pay at the counter, all three girls were there, two were busy, on their phones the other was just standing there. The floor really needed swept, tables needed wiped, customers needed drinks or checked on. May be time to either train your employees, talk to them, or replace them. Just saying..... We will never stop there again.

We have only ever had breakfast here, but it never fails to delight us, especially with how warm and hospitable the staff is. We don’t go frequently enough for them to know who we are, but they make us feel like regulars each time with how relaxed and kind they are. I am, by no means, a coffee connoisseur (I like coffee with my sugar), but I am always pleasantly surprised by how *not* bitter their coffee is. It has plenty of flavor, but (I’m guessing) just isn’t burnt (?)(again, not an expert, but I like that I don’t have to douse their coffee in sugar to enjoy it). The food tastes clean and isn’t half oil like many establishments of this type. If you need more salt or pepper, or a little tobasco, those are all available on the table :) They even have a doggy menu! And there is a changing table (and a singing fish 😂) in the bathroom :)

This was a really lovely experience!! We sat outside on a Saturday afternoon, and there was nice live music! A nice singer and guitar playing, it was a sweet touch to the vibe! Our waitress was incredible, just the sweetest thing! She called me so many sweet, endearing names and I felt so at home. She had that way of making you feel at home. Especially as you're sitting outside surrounded by beautiful Colorado nature. The food was so yummy and satisfying!! I got their chili and a baked potato, it was everything that I could ask for after burning so many calories hiking. It was overall wonderful, a very peaceful energy that takes you right where you need to be. ❤️

The Cutthroat Cafe, what can I say? I hate having to write a bad review but for the sake of others, here goes: As we sat, my chair had a broken back and I had to swap it out. My wife's chair had nasty stains, and nothing looked clean, let alone maintained in any way. The flies were the worst I've ever see, continually attacking our food and even the water glass in pairs. The "entertainment" was way too loud and we rejoiced when he took a break. My wife was wise and ordered a baked potato, but her decaf coffee was swill from hell. She ventured that it was made from used grounds, but I tasted it and was sure it would take a more intentional work to make something that bad. I ordered a 3 egg cheese and mushroom omelet which looked and tasted out of a can. The supposedly hash brown potatoes were insipid and almost uneatable, but I was hungry and persisted, even eating the large chunks that evaded the grater; they would have been better if they came in a bag from some institutional provider. I had chosen wheat toast, and what came was crispy white toast that had to be set aside. And when I went inside to pay, I witnessed their bar section where all the signature drinks originated with a large array of all the "fixins", all un-refrigerated of course, and lookin somewhat worse for exposure to the hot day. As we retreated to the car, I thankfully took a drink of my little thermos coffee, and quickly ate a couple of my wife's stupendous cookies hoping to erase the flavors I'd experienced permanently from my taste buds. I only post this in the hope that others be spared a similar fate. I will never again trust a 4.4 star average review...

I don't often write reviews, but I was so dissatisfied with the meal that I think I need to. The service was actually good. The staff were friendly. But the food.... I ordered the chicken fried steak (beef). It really just tasted like a burnt hamburger. But a burnt hamburger would be better because at least it could be salvaged by cheese and other amenities. The salad that came with it was simple but adequate. The fries were okay too. The dinner roll made me sad. They were either frozen or stale as heck because the inside was harder than an igneous rock. My friend got fish and chips. The batter on the fish was really oily and maybe even thicker than the fish inside. It did not taste fresh at all and clearly was taken out of the freezer after sitting in there for months. My brother got the cheesey potato soup. It looked like mashed potatoes. It tasted kind of like a mushy mac and cheese. The waitress placed the "soup" on the table, and warned us that it's thick. How is this acceptable? I don't think I have ever been warned about a dish upon serving besides it being too hot. How this place has a 4.3 star rating is beyond me. The service was good. But the food is 1.2 stars at best. I usually like to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt and tell myself I went on a bad day. However, it's clear that the culinary practices and standards are not there. I left the restaurant feeling sad and this sentiment will probably...

The food is really great, good portions. Generally the staff is very good. Today I ordered on the phone for pickup and was put on hold in order for someone to be rung up and I can hear the staff person arguing with the customer. I went there to pick up my order and asked if I could pay and the phone rang and I was asked to hold on while I was there in order for them to take the order and I brought that up to her that not only was I put on hold when I called in order for her to ring someone up and now she is telling me to hold so that she take an order over the phone. She continued to argue with me over and over as to why she did it and I asked her to stop a few times. She continued to argue. She did comp my meal and I told her I was not looking for a free meal . I got my order, food looked wonderful and I went to wash my hands and that same staff person assumed I had left and I got to hear her talk about me to all the other waitresses. Like I said everybody has always been very polite. I did speak with her directly and explain to her that I did not appreciate her saying the things she was saying. Not a great environment for other customers to be hearing this either in my opinion but like I said the food is good and I have never had an issue with the staff before this. Only three stars because of her arguing with the customer when I was ordering over the phone and for her attitude...
