I didn't know what to expect when my husband pulled in to this spot on our way to our first distillery. We're trying to try new things.

There's no table service, you just order outside.

The guy who took our order really wanted to give us a good experience on our first time. It's a humble place but...being in MN, this little hole in the wall is really good!

I ordered the jumbo shrimp...and thank God, it was not overcooked. The fries were just perfectly timed and done. My husband had the brisket sandwich. And it was also the bomb! It's not sweet, like what you get from these so-called bbq restaurants here.

This place has excellent BBQ. Top notch,mouth watering, so good you’ll be dreaming about it until the next time you get to eat there. Portion sizes are very generous. Cooks and staff anytime I’ve ever been there are pleasant and very informative of the menu and ingredients, which is always a big deal to me. The only single thing I thought needed some improvement was the prices. This place is pretty expensive. Being that you can’t dine in unless you eat in the car I just feel they could take the prices down a couple bucks. Or create a family style meal serving 4 for a price around $30-$40. I don’t know. For a small x drive in very non assuming spot it's got the best ribs I think I have ever eaten. This father and son bar be que is very popular with a steady flow of cars picking up their white bags of traditional black american style barbeque magic. The ribs have a nice tangy sweet barbeque sauce on the most tender melt in your mouth short ribs you will not be able to stop yourself from repeating umm ummm!
