Had a wonderful dining experience at Ginza of Tokyo tonight! Everyone in my party greatly enjoyed their meals. The salad was fresh and the dressing delicious. I enjoyed the noodles in the soup as they were tender and plentiful. Some found it to be bland but I enjoyed the light flavor. I had a California Roll as an appetizer and it was delicious! I enjoyed how the roe was inside the roll, but this might not appeal to everyone. The main hibachi course was phenomenal. Our chef was friendly and hysterical. He had more than a few tricks up his sleeve that I don't want to give away because it was so much fun! Excellent height on the onion volcano. 👌 We ordered the sirloin steak teriyaki (pictured), hibschi sirloin steak and shrimp combo, and chicken teriyaki. All of our meats were cooked to perfection (medium rare and medium for the steak). The veggies were devoured the second they hit our plates and were of excellent quality. The fried rice was savory and plentiful. The real star what the panko breaded garlic shrimp that you can get on the side. It. Was. Delicious! I usually am not a fan of shrimp but it was buttery and garlicky. We greatly enjoyed our time at Ginza of Tokyo and are looking forward to returning with friends.

Nice spot for a traditional hibachi meal prepared in front of you. We visited for dinner on a Sunday and the restaurant was pretty busy. Our chef was very entertaining and had a lot of good jokes for the kids. The service from the wait staff was a little off...my 6-yr old was the only one at the table that didn't get the fried rice & it didn't get brought out until the very end after the chef was done cooking and he pestered the wait staff to bring it out. She was quite bummed sitting there for a very long time while everyone else had their fried rice. There was also some confusion about whether an elderly gentleman at our table ordered the white or fried rice as well that took away from a nice peaceful dining experience. The next day, the leftovers had an overpowering taste/odor of fish sauce that was not there when the food was fresh. If the service was better and the leftovers weren't fishy, this would easily be a 5-star rating.

One of my favorite dining experiences. The people are kind and sweet, always attending to the needs of the patrons with a smile. The food was not just delicious and well presented, this has to be the first place I’ve eaten in a long time where you could tell the food was actually prepared and cooked by someone and not just heated up. I sat at the bar so all my food was prepared in the kitchen and not right in front of me. The Miso included with my meal was heaven and it was just the right temperature. The sashimi was fresh and succulent. The steak and lobster was very tender, tasty, and prepared exactly as I asked. I will definitely be back!

I bet the good rating are by the owner's kids friends or something...I know its not by people who eat asian food on a regular basis. HORRIBLE SERVICE, by a cook who thinks he is better than you because he is older than you.....MORON...I will warn all my friends and family and church members to stay far from this place and head to ellicott city for asian food.

DO NOT GO THERE FOR THE FREE BIRTHDAY COUPON!!! They charge 18% tip to your bill when you use the coupon. So if you go there with friends and/or family on your birthday, and your bill is comes up over 100 which it will since their grill meal starts at 25 dollar, you'll pay arm and a leg... Example if you go there with 6 friends and your bill comes up 150 dollars,(thats just meal, no soda or beer), they' ll charge you around 28 dollars for your free meal, from a coupon they sent you(me), with orders of drinks, your free meal will come up to 40 plus dollars. They got me, and they probably get many many others like that...if you go just examine your bill closely. They are not even japanesse, but Koreans...I know i am korean... I got this loser cook the guy on their website, he showed no respect for my wife and kids, because he felt like he was older than us( i guess an asian complex he has)...but to the white people, he acts very Asian and does all the tricks with the grill, but with us, he just cook the food for us. The waitress was nice, but she went back and forth with her father(boss) to see if the coupon was valid, and then brought out food on the cart, that cook never even cooked up. The meat for extra 2 dollars i paid for, since i thought i got a free meal is not fillet migmon, but the same meat they use on the regular meal....The food sucks, but who goes there for food. you go there for the show. If you are a minority stay the freak away from that place, because they are only nice to white people. and if you're Asian and you are younger than the cook, he will show you no kind of respect or perform any show...the cook has a complex or something serving his own people, but when it comes to the white folks he will act BERRY ASIAN, and play along with the stereotype....

The food there sucks and is oily and bland, and the towel he cleans the grill with...very dirty... The Toyko grill at any mall eatery is 30 time better in flavor and is the same ingredients. Choose any other restaurants in that plaza over that one, and if you want real asian food, go up 20 minutes rt29 north, to rt 40 ellicott city... Now i know why there were not asian customers there, becasue the food, they consider asian food is not really asian food, but them just making a huge profit off of you.

The best thing about that place, when i was there, was the latino cook, who i saw, and was very good. shame that in an asian restaurant the best cook is the latino cook... Went there wife, my 2 year old and myself, and the bill came up to 80 dollars with the free birthday dinner, and all we got was one beer, one soda, her meal, and my free meal. They charge gratuity for your free meal, before subtracting your free meal out of the total bill.

It just shows you that people in fulton are getting ripped off, when they eat japanesse food cooked by koreans....I am korean american myself, and i felt very angry and stupid after going there. But if your white theyll treat you nice so....uncle tom complex with the employee and owners there...check out their website and stay far from that cook they have the picture off....I can go...

The food was ok. The bathroom was clean and we were greeted quickly.the chef was really nice and attentive to my kids.

We were sat immediately because it was extremely slow. Hardly no customers. My family of 6 was sat alongside a party of 2 (they were regulars who fine there once a week apparently).

The waitress rushed us to order as soon as we sat down. We barely sat down and just received 3 high chairs for the small ones and she was already asking for our order.

Like give me a minute to open the menu?!!

Next I ordered and the didn’t like the taste of anything. I feel like the chef put too much salt in everything (I’m not the only guest to feel this way). Next the waitress like never came back to the table to check on us after she got our orders and gave us drinks. Not to give a refill not to see if we were ok, nothing. We just never saw her again.

They included 20% tip which is fine. I normally tip over 20% (close to 50%) when I go out to eat with my kids because I know they’ll leave a big mess. But not this time. She can have the 20% that she did NOT earn but I definitely won’t be returning here.

The chef had a good personality but I would still say the “show” was mediocre compared to other hibachi restaurants we have dined at. And the food was REALLY salty I can’t emphasize that enough. Despite the taste of the food, the waitress really was the worst part of the visit.

I do...
