I bit into my chicken sandwich and it was not fully cooked. I took the sandwich back and a worker showed it to his manager. The worker then came back and offered to refund my money for the sandwich only, not the full meal (until I suggested it). The manager never even turned around to look at me. They didn’t even offer a coupon for the inconvenience after a frequent customer had to take time away from work, and burn additional fuel to drive back to their restaurant and bring back food that wasn’t cooked. They barely wanted to refund the full meal. This same chick-fil-a also forgot to put fries in my bag and put the wrong cheese on my sandwich last week and I didn’t feel like going back for them to correct the mistake. Not to mention last month when they forgot to put bacon on my sandwich, never complained about it or any other instance when they under performed. Today was the last straw. Poor service. I won’t be back. Plenty of other restaurants near Maple Lawn. Also you guys have kids outside in the freezing cold taking orders for minimum wage. Bring those kids inside during the winter. This place appears to be more concerned with giving a bunch of customers bad service really quickly than delivering quality service while also making your employees happy. The young lady who took my order outside didn’t look too happy and I can’t blame her because it was freezing. That little heater isn’t doing...
Read moreAs someone who’s visited Chick-fil-A locations across the country, I’ve come to expect a certain standard of service—this location completely missed the mark. While not my first visit, my recent experiences have been the most disappointing.
One evening in the drive-thru, I had to repeat my name and order several times, only for it to still be incorrect. I ordered the Market Salad, which should come with grilled chicken, but was given chicken strips instead. When I brought it up, the staff seemed confused, despite the clear menu image and the fact that I’ve ordered this salad many times before.
A young African-American girl (she had a long ponytail) working that night had a visibly poor attitude and walked away mid-conversation while I was trying to clarify my order for the third time. Thankfully, another team member stepped in and handled things more professionally.
To top it off, I was denied a large cup of ice—something I’ve never experienced at any other Chick-fil-A. A manager even had the same young lady come back and tell me I could buy a soda if I wanted ice. That’s absolutely appalling, especially after spending over $30 and for fast food at that.
Ironically, I returned not long after and ordered the same salad—this time it was made correctly with no confusion. The inconsistency in both product and customer service is unacceptable and far below the standard Chick-fil-A...
Read moreWe get food here on average maybe twice a week. Chick-fil-A is good and it's made out of actual food and they are, of course, very polite. Which really goes a long way.
Typically my experience here is very good, but the last couple of months they keep closing curbside for "inclement weather." Half the time it's been raining and that's 1000% fine. The other half tho...I've personally never defined sunny and 75 as "inclement" but maybe I'm weird.
They tend take an absolute eternity if you go inside to grab your food, but drive thru & curbside - when it's open - is usually pretty quick.
Today something did bother me tho. Against my better judgement I went in to pick up my breakfast order. Someone unwrapped his sandwich & discovered it was the wrong thing. He asked the employee if she wanted the wrong one back. Shock #1 is that she said yes. Shock #2 was when she put it back in the warmer queue to be used in another order.
Ew ew ew ew ew... Please don't do that! Comp the dude the sandwich, give him the right one, and DON'T give a sandwich someone else opened to another customer. I think the girl was new & I've never seen anything like that there before.
I'm sure we'll still keep eating our Chick Fil-a, but those things do keep me from giving 5 stars. It would be 4.5 if I had...
